Knowledge Base (KBase)
Introduction:
KBase aka Knowledge Base is a PHP based web application for maintaining and uploading new articles open to all registered users. The main idea behind KBase is to provide a common platform to users who belong to same or different background for sharing their ideas with other people.

Maintenance and Upgradation:
KBase is designed keeping in mind the maintenance and upgradation process of the application. It uses Pear DB package for database abstraction layer, which enable the users to shift from one database to another without any issues. For rendering HTML pages KBase make use of Smarty templating engine, which keeps both PHP logic and HTML code separate and thus making easy for the user to make any changes to the application as per his/her requirement without any hiccups.
