I’m not sure why the demo would not work for you. Perhaps it did not load all the files before you tested? To be sure what browser are you on?

Hi Guys,

I’ll look into why this isn’t working and post an update for you!

I’ve tested this in FF 3 .5.3/WinXP here, using both the live demo on CodeCanyon and the local development code, and it works as expected.

Can those of you experiencing problems provide some more info about what doesn’t work? Also can you check the JavaScript Console for errors (Tools -> Error Console; hit the Clear button, then load the demo and see if anything appears)

Demo not working either. Here’s a snapshot:

That looks like JavaScript is turned off, or there was some other problem. Can you confirm that you have JS enabled and if so, check the Error Console?

Do you mean so it moves in and out slightly when it’s in the “closed” state?

If that is what you meant, it’s one of the planned features for the next version. If not, could you please explain a little more?

Couple of questions. I cannot get the background image to appear, so when the second peel occurs it actually cuts into my page content. I’ve tried adding the background notes-revealed to the CSS (and numerous other things), but can’t get it to work. Maybe I have another style overriding it or something…I’m a beginner and just getting familiar with CSS . Next question (considering I get the bg to work) – how do I stop the “second” peel effect, and just stick with the first one?

Other than this bg issue (which is obviously on my end), I love the effect. 5 stars from me.

First off, to stop the “second” stage peel out, pass in an options object, with fullOpenClick set to false, as per below:

var peel = new Xteam.Ui.PagePeel(’#pagepeel’, {fullOpenOnClick: false});

As for the background issue, what element are you applying the background to?

Thanks for the prompt response. Re: background, I was just trying some things in the section where you have marked “insert HTML here”. I also set the the background on the stylesheets for class .xteam-pagepeel .corner

Without seeing your code it’s hard to know what the problem is. If it’s online somewhere I can have a look @ it for you.

Cool! Thanks for adding that. I will check it out once the live preview is updated and will consider purchasing.

The online demo (http://codecanyon.net/item/jsized-page-peel/full_screen_preview/77509) has the Teaser mode enabled – just watch it for a few seconds (you might need to clear your cache if you visited the live preview when it was v1.0) and you should see the peel pull down slightly, then back again.

Same issue here.. the peel does not load in Firefox 3.6.3. —This is the first time I tried to view the file as well.

Works fine on Chrome and IE.

Please let me know when you get around to fixing this so it works on FF. I will gladly purchase the file. :)

would be nice for some precise documentation for the “less than savvy” computer peops.

like in each file, a note of exactly where things belong and how to implement them.

Simple stuff like, why there’s two .css in the download…do i need to reference them both?

Lastly, whats the difference with my purchase vs the “Demo/Instructions?”

needless to say, im having a hard time making it work correctly

Hi..just bought this script, applied to my pages. I think bg element is taken over the corner. Not able to show images. Does images need to be in the same folder?

I am calling images from from library file and check the path. I think it is someting to do with z-index.

Please help.
