Yes. I’m planning to extend the number of methods you can call with the plugin. In the next release will be more!

Could I use this as a plugin or module in my little CMS ?

How do you go about adding photos to it now?

Is it just one include code that looks the same?

Of course, you can use it in a CMS , having jQuery 1.3.2+ referenced.

About the other questions, sorry, but I don’t understand what you mean…

Hi!

I’m sorry, but by now the only thumbnail size implemented is “s” (75px). As you can see in the plugin code, I’ve managed an option called “miniatureSuffix”, but in this version of the plugin you’re not able to change the default value, I’ve to manage some problems with the css… I hope I can come back to work on it in a little time.

So this will allow me to put a flickr gallery on my html site correct. Within my own css stylesheet?

Yes. The elements created by the plugin have their own css classes, of course you MAY need to adjust your css, if you see some problems…

Hello, I would like to use my Secret ID for Flickr, does it Work? I use only flickr with private acces. Thanks in advance for the answer.

I’ve never tried the SecretID, and I think it will not work, anyway you SHOULD NOT USE it in a javascript application. Never.

It will be visible in the source of your page!

Thanks a lot for your answer. I’m looking for a gallery which works in a iframe with SecretID Flickr (and no flash to be compatible iOs). The gallery need to open lightbox to see the photos bigger. Any idea, I’ve found nothing. Thanks a lot.

If you need to use the SecretID then you need to use a php or .net gallery application, in order to make server-side requests to Flickr API . Any other way should be unsecure.

Thanks for your answer. I use Wordpress, your application working with wordpress would be great. Today there isn’t a lot of application to do that with wordpress, the doesn’t use SecretID. I think a lot of people will be interesting with your application on wordpress (there is a huge community).

Would you be able to disable the description box on mouse over ?? I simply want the thumbnails to open with the Fancy box plugin, also could you please provide instructions on how to integrate the two please ?

Regards, Tyler

Hi, in order to integrate the fancyBox plugin, as mentioned in the html documentation, you’ve just to set a function in the functionHighlighter parameter, something like:

$(”#idGallery”).myflickr({ ... functionHighlighter: function () { return $(this).fancybox(); }, ... });

Of course you need to import in your page the FancyBox plugin before this configuration.

For your other question: I’ve just found a simple workaround, and If you retry to contact me via e-mail I could send you the modified version (yes, I should integrate this in the published version, but this may take some days…).

Let me know!
