How do I get rid of “Upload an image to use as a puzzle!” option?
Also is there any way to make it work on tablet and smartphone?

Oh, and at the moment it does not work with any touch screen devices. I don’t have any plans for that now, but if I can ever find the time I’ll try to make it work.

copied out to web server but does not work properly. Can’t move any of the pieces and pieces are all stacked in upper left corner not spread out like the demo.
I’m sorry to hear that. I’m going to need a little more info if you have it. What version of PHP are you running on your server? Are any errors showing up on the screen? Does this happen in all browsers?
Good afternoon, I’m using the browser chrome and got error to start the script, the figures do not appear and when I upload some of the error in index.php line 25. I made no changes to the code. thank you

It took longer than expected to finish the site we had planned due to other projects, but we’re making good use of this script now, excellent script and fits in with our site perfectly.

Looks like what I need but the demo leaves 1 piece missing and I cannot test trying to get into the High Score Table.
Pity you cannot email your score by form so as to use it in a competition.

The piece was probably just covered up by a hunk of the puzzle. You can drag & drop clusters out of the way.
You can just copy/paste PHP ’s email function into the file to have it email the score to you.

No….believe me…..in an Easy 4 piece puzzle…..it isn’t hidden.
When I keep the setting at Easy I keep creating a new puzzle and it only works maybe 1 time out of 10.
In Firefox I cannot see the missing piece but in Ie it shows an x where the piece should be.

Oh, sorry I thought you meant the actual bounding box is missing. That’s a server issue, not an issue with the script. My server has been hit hard recently, and Firefox will request an image multiple times as the others don’t.

Is there a way to change the background color? Some pictures would be easier to see and align with a darker background. It wouldn’t matter if the “grid” were there or not. Let me know. I am buying it either way. Thanks, Kenny
Yeah, open the main.css file located in the /lib/ folder. Change the second line from “background-image:url(’../img/bg.jpg’);” to “background-color:black” or whatever color you want. Thanks!
Great script. One wee thing though – the +Create Puzzle button doesn’t appear in Safari – tried running it in Firefox & Google Chrome and it’s there.
Also, is there any way to have the puzzle default to a different number of tiles and be already shuffled (just to add a bit of mystery in certain applications)

Yes, there is definitely a way to do that if you know a bit of Javascript and are willing to tinker around, but the script doesn’t natively do that.
Hi melancton, found another wee glitch which I’m wondering if it’s possible for you to fix. On some of the tile sets, the picture is cropped, some at the bottom, others at the sides. This is not a big issue if using just any old pic to make a random puzzle, but when using it as an advertising tool (as I am thinking of doing) it might cut off some important information. Hope you can fix this.
Also there doesn’t seem to be any way for players to select any of the other puzzles available, even though you have provided a folder of thumbnails (which I’m guessing must be used in a menu somewhere, to give them a choice?) – but I see no sign of these being used anywhere.

Do you have an example of this glitch? I can’t seem to duplicate it.
At the moment, there is no way for the player to select the puzzle. They are chosen at random.

I just noticed that on this discussion page, some posters have the word ‘purchased’ next to their names. I have purchased the script but that doesn’t show next to mine – is there something I’ve not done right?
I’m more puzzled than the 108 pieces in the jigsaw now. I’ve been reading previous posts on here as well as having a look at the demo. Nothing seems to relate to the files I have purchased from this site. You mentioned a submit.php file – I do not have that in the folder I downloaded. Your demo doesn’t crop any pictures and the whole thing looks completely different from the version I have. The version I have has a menu bar with buttons which say Border, Middle, All – then Shuffle, Preview & Help (reading from the left) Your demo only has one button in the top right corner with the word ‘options’ in it.
Is it possible that I’ve been sent an old version of this by mistake?
Sounds like you may have purchased someone else’s puzzle script. Mine has never had that kind of menu bar.

Ok so I removed the upload… was not too hard when I took the time to look @ the code. But the one thing that I can not figure out to save my life is how to add a header and a footer.
I tried to use the php include, but it does not work. I need to add a header and a footer to the script so that I can add a menu.
Any help will be great

It is not a wordpress plugin, no. But it won’t conflict with wordpress if you just upload it to your server in a seperate folder.
