jGallery

jgallery does not support 3.3.1

I’m quite confused by this plugin! Where do I build the actual gallery or album? I have created the template, but don’t get where the images come from? Do I need another gallery plgun to build the actual galleries, and this is just controlling the look?

Would be great use Custom Post Type and taxonomy to nmanage galleries…

Hey sndi105,

You create a page or post, then upload images for that post. The images you upload become the gallery. You will then grab the page or post id and use it in the gallery setup screen to have jgallery pull the images and construct the actual gallery that will be viewed.

You don’t have to make the page or post publicly view-able. You would embed the gallery on a different page using shortcode, widgets, or embed in a template file.

I have the question as “weart” I can’t get this to work on WordPress 3.3.1. Foolishly I bought this with out checking the Software version on the right hand side. When is the update coming out?
