No, there is a live demo. However, it seems that there is a problem with Code Canyon that makes live previews down. I have contacted a Moderator and I hope they fix it soon.

Does this allow your site visitors to tag the photos?

No right now there isn’t such feature, however, you implement it by yourself. I’ll consider adding it if there is a good demand.

Yeah, it would be awesome if it would somehow allow visitors to tag the photos just like facebook. I know that there are a lot of site like mine http://thejesustv.com who would love to be able to add such a feature.

Thanks, Jereme

Hi, above you said there is a live demo, can you please post a link to the live demo if CodeCanyon is having problems adding it to your item?

I am very interested in your item, but I absolutely will not buy until I am able to “Demo” the product.

Thanks!

I like this script, but without the ability to add the tags without having to manipulate the code it is useless to me. You should try adding the jQuery plug-in that allows you to select a portion of an image.

Also even though the fading effect is nice it is useless.

This script is for bloggers/webmasters who just want to tag their photos (themselves). I’m doing improvement to the script and will add the feature soon. Thanks for the plugin suggestion.

bookmarked…

i do agree with mhancoc7..

maybe if u make the visitor hv to register first and then they can tag the images… it will a hot cake!!!

and maybe for that feature u sell higher $$ than this standalone script… since many of the buyer here r not a n expert in php programming…

I’m working on this feature and it will be on another script. However, it won’t be PHP but cross-language. It means, it’ll work with ASP .net, PHP , Python…

Is it possible, using this script, to make each of the items in the photo link to a different page (can the tags be internal/external site page links)?

For example, if there were different pieces of furniture in a picture and each piece had a different page within the website, I would want to make it so that if the user scrolls over the couch, they would see the name of the couch…then if they clicked on that name they would be taken to a page to read more about the couch. Then if they scrolled over the lamp, the name of the lamp would pop up and if they clicked that name, they would be taken to a different page to read about the lamp.

Each tag can be linked to a class, then you can use jQuery $('.tagclass').click(function () { // Anything really });

So, pretty much everything is possible if you know little jQuery. Play with it!

A link to the site or page you are trying to customize would be a lot more helpful.

Try different position (and also make sure they don’t intersect). I’m not sure, but I think that’s the problem

Hi, Remove the following lines

var myimage = new timg(‘img1’); myimage.addTag(mytag);

Useless lines may spawn bugs. Refer to the docs and samples.

Unluckily it’s not really customizable (unless you hack into the JS code). If you are using WordPress you may want to check my plug-in which is customizable (with API and CSS ).

Thanks for you quick reply. We have chosen to just display the tags with your scripts. However, we’re doing it like this: $(document).ready(function() { $(window).load(function(){ // Create a new Image Object. // It’s simple, you just need the ID, which you’ll pass // as an argument var myimage53 = new timg(‘53’); // Create a new Tag Object. You have some properties to set. var mytag53 = new itag (); mytag53.pos.X = 246; mytag53.pos.Y = 286; mytag53.size.X = 120; mytag53.size.Y = 120; mytag53.text = “stoffe”; // Finally, we associate the tag with the Image myimage53.addTag(mytag53); }); That’s the code for each tag. Later on that page we have the for each image which sets the id for each image. However, that’s not working for us.. What are we doing wrong?
