Thank you, actually this gallery is a mixture, the hen burns effect is made with canvas because it is really smooth, there rest is plain javascript and HTMLElements

Yes of course this you can read this in the description and see it in the last sample the one without thumbs. You can even set the target for the links.

how about crappy old IE’s? How would they display it? A big mess or just not as nice? (Sorry, don’t have IE on my mac =D)
We are looking into the future, in my vision is best to create a good html5 project that works in all modern browsers instead of creating a crappy project which works on ie7 or ie8. We are into developing html5 components!
Hi guys very nice however does not work in google chrome for me I keep getting “cannot load xml file” I have tried putting the jquery in other parts of the document but its still the same
If you want to test it local use firefox, ie or safari. Chrome dose not allow ajax calls when locally, this is why you get that warning message, this is explained in the help file. Of course when tested online it will work on all browsers.

looks nice… but: the thumbnails are hiding a part of the image as they are places over the image. Would be better if the position of the thumbnails would be set under the image zone…
This was made intentional, when the mouse leaved the banner area the thumbs will hide and the entire image is displayed.

For many image gallery, there is a way to read at the same time all the images in a directory instead of repeat row and row of code (with only the filename changed) ?? thanks
