HTML 5 AJAX Contact Form

Of course it won’t look good in IE – IE does not support html5 HOWEVER if you are doing a html5 project you will probably know about, and be using, http://html5boilerplate.com/ which adds html5 support to IE.

This feature requires PHP GD library installed on your server – contact your host.

This is a FireFox 4 bug and a problem with the HTML5 “placeholder” element. It will hopefully be patched soon by Mozilla.
