Are you planning a Wordpress version ?

Nope, sorry.

Will these work inside SharePoint 2013?

No sorry.

I have yet to purchase hoveralls, but I’m interested in your design. I’m curious if there is a deep linking feature. I would like to send links via email directly to the videos and images as opposed to the whole page/gallery. Is this possible? Particularly for the lightbox and HTML slide down feature.

Hi, sorry no it does not incorporate deep linking, you would have to set that up yourself. I’m planning a new update and will see what I can do, currently adding a skinning system is the only thing on the list. If you would like to suggest any other ideas I’ll do my best to work them in. Thanks!

Awesome! Thank you. the good documentation really helps too.

I can’t seem to get the text_opacity to work separately from the opacity.

See here: [link removed per author request]

The Text/HTML Button is coded to be solid/no opacity but, it is inheriting the opacity settings from the overlay. .6,.6

Also, how can I vertically center the button? This will save me time coding the Responsive.

Should I just use a background-image; of a Button here? Would it be easier?

Thanking you..

Thanks! Sorry, I had to flag your comment since it includes a link. :( If you email me directly through my profile page I can assist you with your questions. :)

arrggghhhh! Thanks – will email you directly

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… Cool :)))

Is this a wordpress plugin?

I read above that you had no plans to make it a wordpress plugin but found your plugin listed here

Clarification would be great please

Many Thanks

Sorry, that’s just someone that is trying to make a few bucks on the affiliate program :D While HoverAlls works in all CMS platforms, it isn’t a WP plugin and there still aren’t any future plans for conversion. If you have any other questions I’d be happy to answer them! :)

Great Work!. Tried implementing this in Magento… yet though it may work it is conflicting with my Language List (pulldown) Ajax Cart (pulldown) ... (The menus open.. but will not close anymore.. they stay open ;( .. ) somehow when HoverAlls works… yet it keeps the pulldown menus from closing. This is frustrating.. Any Ideas?.... Thanks

ok.. forget that last comment.. I think I know why now.. My theme is loading jquery 1.11.0 and Hoveralls is using jquery 1.9.1 .. I will investigate further with noConflict file maybe??.. if you have any ideas.. please let me know.. Thanks

Hi there, I’m getting around to a new major update for HoverAlls within the next couple of weeks :) I did just check everything though and there aren’t any issues, warnings or errors with that version of jQuery – in any of the HoverAlls effects. I’ll respond directly to your email as it looks like this is an isolated issue. Thanks!

Major Update + New Features Coming Soon!

A new major release of HoverAlls is currently being planned. This (as usual) will be a free update to the existing version and will be posted here as soon as it is complete. In the meantime, please feel free to post feature requests here and I’ll do my best to get to them.

Hi, was working on this with wordpress. Added the these scripts <head> <link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” media=”screen” href=”...”/> <script src=”...”></script> <script type=”text/javascript” src=”...”></script> </script>

<script type="text/javascript">

I currently trying to figure out why it doesnt work on my image. If i were to add this into the page, it should work right?

<img src=”...” class=”ticker” alt=”Position and style your scroller however you like.” data-hoveralls=”{ "speed":"350,250", "bg_class":"tickerBackground3", "text_class":"tickerText3", "opacity":"0,1", "coords":"100,10||20,10||100,10", "text_coords":"100,0||-500,0||100,0", "text_speed":"15000,600", "text_effect":"linear,linear" }” />

Hi Snakje, it appears that there are several issues going on here. Not sure if this is a typo, but you’ve listed <header> – make sure the scripts and css files are linked in the <head> of your website. Additionally, the plugin call is looking for an element with class=”alert” – make sure this element exists. The options need to be passed in correctly (see any of the plenty examples in the download) – mode” isn’t a valid setting format. The image HTML you provided isn’t doing anything because you need to call HoverAlls with the plugin call using: jQuery(’.ticker’).HoverAlls(); If you need more specific assistance, please feel free to email me directly from my profile page. Thanks! :)
