Hi, sorry for the inconvenience caused. We’ll look into this asap. Meanwhile, please rename “hide_my_wp” plugin folder to something like ””hide_my_wp_bkp” in /wp-content/plugins/ directory using FTP.

I changed that line in define.php and disabled rewrite URLs but the site never loaded, endless spinning. The website is also on CDN, but i have added mirroring for W3 and CDN support from Hide my WP and it was working fine. Maybe the theme itself? It’s a premium theme here on themeforest.

Hi, HMWP does prevent the detection of wordpress/theme from detectors like wpthemedetector.com, whatwpthemeisthat.com, etc. Please let us know your website url.
Please follow these steps:
- goto HMWP >> ‘Start’ Tab >> ‘Medium Pripacy – More Compatibility’ scheme >> click ‘Save Settings’ - goto HMWP Permalinks & urls tab and set “rename plugins” option to all plugins.
Note: Assuming that it’s WP single site and Apache server. Your site’s htaccess file should be writeable.
Sorry, I’ve all configured as you said (htaccess is changing according to settings selected) but theme and a lot of plugins are detected. Please can you give me an example (URL) of site using your plugin with a lot of plugins and a commercial theme? (I’m using more of 50 plugins) that can be completely hidden? because the example you have is a very simple site, easy to hide, but it isn’t the typical wp site with 30-40 plugins working and probably a commercial theme. Hi, it’s not a heavy plugin. It simply makes use of rewrite rules to rename/mask the default WP paths, and is compatible with wp rocket. The issue mentioned above regarding wp rocket could be specific to his website and our support is already looking into it.
Finaly decide to use plugin, but..So i use WP-rocket have setup there all. Minify etc. Than i try your plugin, i use a lot of functions, but most important for me is hide plugins and admin etc. So the problem is: Before exclude 4 css files from minify ( wp-rocket ), but now – seems this function not works, i use new patch to css files already, but same – now rocket minify all files. How to fix it?

Hi Im keen to introduce this plugin. Sorry Im not very technical but I am reading in the comments alot of “you can rename etc etc”. The plugin automatically renames everything as a “starting point” I gather? You don’t have to manually rename everythng in other words? Also i am keen to use a couple of plugins called “Force Email Login” and “Force Login”. Would there be any reason why these wont work that you are aware of? Thanks in advamce.
Hi, with HMWP plugin you can rename/mask default wordpress paths like /wp-content/uploads/; /wp-content/themes/; etc so that wordpress/theme/plugins are not detected in your site.
I changed my wordpress admin url. All is working perfectly except when the user enters /wp-admin it redirects to the admin login and accessing the changed url results in 404. Can you advised how to change this to vice-versa. Thanks ML
Hi, it’s a know issue that if you change wp-admin path then /wp-admin redirects to login page. This will be fixed it the upcoming version of the plugin. Sorry for the inconvenience.

For changing wp login url you can use Theme My Login or custom login url plugin.

Hi, you can replace any text/word in the page source with “replace in html” option under replace tools tab. But it’s not recommended to replace stylesheet class/ids as it might break the site’s styling. Yes, you can replace the comments.
