Wow. Excellent Item! I’ve been looking for something very simple that saves forms! Finally. Bookmarked (:
Thank you for the kind words.
preview is down – take a look please
Hello. Thanks for commenting, and sorry I didn’t see this earlier.
I will take a look into why the live preview isn’t working.
Thanks for understanding.
EDIT :
Okay, I have traced the issue, for some reason, the live preview doesn’t work with www.
it works for me with: http://h-form.info/
Hi, I’m planning on using your code for the contact area of a website on an mobile device without wifi.
I’m a newbie so i need your help/ Do you think i’ll be able to save all the visitors email addresses and then retrieve them after 2 days using safari browser? The website will be hosted within the ipad.
Thanks in advance
I presume you mean “MobileSafari”.
Although I don’t have an iPad, I have an iPod touch (4G), and I will run a test and let you know if it works.
Currently, once you save the form, the data is stored, and when you next visit, you get the data, so yes, you can get it after 2 days (or any time).
It also depends how you are collecting the client’s email addresses, for what you’re asking for, you might want it to be stored in a web database (not sure if iPad supports it though)
Also, I should point out this is “browser based”, so for example, anything that the clients puts into a form, can’t be saved into your browser. (because it’s browser based, per PC)
I’ll continue thinking about this, to see if it can be done, and I’ll edit this post (or make one below).
EDIT :
Also, it depends what exactly you want, for example, the client using your app could save the data within the form (including email addresses) into local/session Storage, but if you’re asking whether you are able to get them, I don’t think you would be able to (we’re looking at taking the php route for this, but even then, not sure if php would work offline on iPad)
However, you could have an online system, where the email addresses get sent to a script on your site (via php), and then you could save all of them into local storage (by clicking the email address – and then it gets saved)
Thanks for commenting, and I’ll be glad to assist you further.
does not work in firefox 4 please fix
Thank you for purchasing hForm.
I will take a look tonight at firefox 4 and try to fix it.
Sorry for any inconveniences.
Just tested on Firefox 4.0 and it works great (on http://h-form.info/demos/)
If you are still having this trouble, please message me from my den page.
Thanks!
i have some presale questions…
Sorry for the very late reply here.
You are certainly welcome to ask any questions you have and I’ll be sure to try my best in answering them
Thank you.

kindly i would like to know how the script works, i cant seem to understand from the comments above neither from its description. i am looking for a script that can save form data, in the event a user refreshes the page he/she can still get the information without having to re-enter it again. does your script offer something like this or close to this?
regards
Hello, thanks very much for your comment.
I am deeply sorry that the products description wasn’t clear to you, I will update the description tomorrow to better reflect the idea here
Yes, it does exactly what you wanted, you save the contents of the form to storage and when you refresh the page it’ll remember what the user entered.
I will gladly assist to answer any future questions.
Thank you.

Hi?
thanks for the reply, but before i make a purchase, i need one feature. Is it possible to have the script autosave after a few minutes or seconds without the users knowledge? i have seen this feature in a couple of sites.
Thanks
Hey tBeza.
I was actually thinking about upgrading this script and one of the features actually including auto saving the form rather than clicking a link.
However, because this script is old and jQuery has since been updated I’ll need a bit of time to get the new features ready, so sometime I will release this (I’ll look later today at upgrading this script and what this feature will require).
I’ll keep you in the loop, and will send an email with my findings later
Thank you.
