My system is set up ok if I add images from my gallery. But my Instagram gallery with auto populate simply doesn’t work. It works for about 1 hour and then stops working until I go to the WP-Admin and hit “rebuild previews”. This is driving me crazy! Any fixes?

I have some pre sales questions, hope you don’t mind.
I really like this gallery plugin but am not sure from watching the screencasts if it will do what I want.
Basically I have multiple clients all with a single page of information. On that page there are 4 images within a column which I want to link to lightbox galleries, so for example if image 1 is clicked the lightbox gallery with around 10 images will open, the same for image 2 and so on.
Trouble is I can’t get my head around how to build these on page with global gallery plugin, the images will not be in Facebook or other gallery pages. Just images which I would prefer to put into collections based on the client name, for example Client 1 gallery 1, client 1 gallery 2 etc.
Is this possible?

Hello Andrew,
GlobalGallery is made for photogalleries. Then 1 thumbnail => 1 image in the lightbox.
But MediaGrid can do it perfectly Using the “silder type” you can show how many images you want, starting from a single one.
Hello LCweb, why are the images placed in the GG not showing in the Google search? They have been there for over 3 months now and even with all the tags filled they just never appear. Other images on the same page, which are not placed in the GG, are showing in Google search. If you want to check this is the website. Thank you.

I just purchased this plugin… and I thought it did what I want but I don’t think it can…
Basically, I have 16 logos of different sizes that I want to have visible on one page. So it needs to be mosaic style. In addition, I would like for the user to be able to sort these 16 logos based on sector. I guess I misinterpreted what this plugin can do… because the only way I can get the filters for the categories is if I make collections of images… which is not what I need… Ahh =(Is there any way I can create what I described with your plugin? =|

For 16 images, mosaic style and filters I think MediaGrid would fit your needs.
GlobalGallery is made to manage large amount of images in galleries.

Okay, so, will Media Grid allow me to create custom categories? Instead of All, Video, Audio, etc. ? Can you confirm 100% that it can do what I described? I don’t want to waste my money on something I won’t use again.. thanks

mh.. no, is not possible to make that. You can use static images but without a caption.
Anyway the tweak is very very easy to do and I’ll be glad to make it for you.

Hi I just purchased your item. I just started building a gallery with 500px x 500px size images. Works fine, I just realized the way I wanted the thumbnails to look I’m not sure is possible, though it seems it must be. I do not want my thumbnails to be cropped. I want them to just be smaller versions (thumbnails) of the full size lightbox version of the image). Can I do this? Seems obvious, but I just noticed that all your thumbnail images on the demo are cropped.

The standard one crops the images
photostring doesn’t crop but images could be trimmed at the sides
mansonry doesn’t crop, just downscale
So, try using masonry
In “Image Slider” is possible to use “light box” to enlarge even more?

Hi, it seems that I don’t know how to set the size of the image from Flickr.
Every image I put it into the gallery is 520×250px (at fullscreen) although my pictures are well bigger than that. How can I change this?

not directly, you have to tweak the plugin. I’ve already used the share ones in the lightbox so I preferred to keep the layout clean.
Looks like something I need! But I have questions: 1. In fullscreen mode can I turn off thumbnails or make it so they are not on top of the image? 2. In lightbox mode, can I hide the thumbnails? Showing a thumbnail grid then thumbnails under the lightbox seems like too much. 3. Can I use just the image slider without the thumbnail grid, masonry, photo string… ?

3- Yes, is totally up to you! Simply use the slider shortcode

Obviuosly you need to build galleries and use the plugin shortcode.
