How do I “Open external links through image clicks”?
Hi mhume,
In the download source, in the models category, the 4th item is hyperlinked. So check out that item in the html for an example.

Hi,
anyone got any instructions in how to get this working with word press site, thank you
Hi Pjassal79,
Every WordPress theme is different so there is no single set of instructions that will work for everyone. I might be able to add the gallery to your theme for you as freelance work if you like.

If I use images in Portrait orientation on the full-screen gallery, is it possible to NOT have the images stretch out to fill the window, but make it so the entire image fits within the window from top to bottom? I would prefer to have this option set for images in both Landscape and Portrait so it is centered within the window and Fits, so the entire image is visible and not cut off due to being stretched.
I realize I can use the fixed gallery instead, but I prefer the full screen gallery, since it compensates for different screen resolutions and adjusts the images within the window.
Thanks
Hi arego,
Sure, in the html, just change the scaling mode from “cj-stretch” to cj-fit”. This is part of the class attribute declared in the opening unordered list tag of each category.

Nice thanks. I knew I had seen those instructions somewhere
How would I get the category/thumbnail bar to be minimized when the page loads?
Thanks,
D
Hi dnj14,
In the “js/cj-galleryjack-settings.js” file, under “slideshowSettings”, change “hideThumbnails” from false to true.

On the Full-screen gallery… how do I give the user the ability to save the currently displayed image to their computer if required? I have enabled right-click, but when I right click on the image I do not have the option to “Save Image” .. It would be awesome to have a download icon on the gallery controls, maybe a “save” icon of sorts [< x P S >]
In one of my earlier Comments asked 8 months ago (page 7) I had asked you how to isolate the currently displayed image, and you provided me the code to do that. Is there a way I can use that, to save bring up the save dialogue box so the user can save the image to their computer?
Hi arego,
Send me an email from my profile page and I might be able to help.

Hi, Is it possible to run multiple instances of this plugin on only one page ? Can I dynamically add and remove images using javascript ?
Thanks! Bernardo
Hi Bernardo,
Only one instance per page is supported, and adding/removing images would need to be done before the gallery is initialized.
-Jack
Do you think I can destroy the running instance using javascript code, then call a new instance? (They will never run at the same time)
What i’m trying to achieve is this: http://emporiohass.com.br.s123402.gridserver.com. If you go to Portfolio, you’ll se that each link results in a background slideshow. I’m using another plugin, but destroying the previous instance makes the intervals go crazy!
Thanks Jack! Bernardo
Hi Bernardo,
The best way to accomplish this would be to load the gallery as an iframe, then reload the iframe every time you need a new instance.

Hi Jack, thanks for the great work with this gallery. Got a couple minor bugs/questions for you-
1. on chrome and ie the loading icon does not rotate for some reason? works fine on firefox.
2. on chrome the wipe transition seems sluggish. fine on other browsers. fade transition works good on chrome.
Hi Dallas,
Looks like the preloader needs an update. Send me an email from my profile page and I’ll send it over.
Transition performance is going to vary per browser.
