hello vasilios.
thank you for your reply. It seems IE8 is doing strange things on log in. I was able to review your nice work in Firefox. I will purchase in next few days.
Great file!!

Definitly nice work!!
Someone before said:
“Just a suggestion, Maybe the ability to edit files. In particular web file types (such as .html, .css, .php, etc) and use a syntax highlighter.”
I highly agree with that, I’m very used to some syntax highlighting by my notepad++ and I would love to see it in your script! It would even be crazier if the colors could be customized!
Keep the good work up m8!
cheers

Hello
thanks for the great script.
i have installed it and its working good, but the problem i’m facing is, when i run the ftp, it is only showing its own directory files, how can i and where can i edit the line, so it will show the directories before this one in my current web directory, i have the structure like this
mydomain.com under the http folder, i have 2 folders, main and temp and i have installed this ftp inside the main folder, so its like main/ftpless so how can i make it to show the main folder files, cuz at present, its displaying only the ftpless folder.
thank you

A feature request i would add is moving files drag and drop style. I see you can by editing them one by one but drag and drop would be killer! Good work tho!

It is a very nice work, maybe i can use in a project, to give easy edit access to my partners. thanks

Is there a file size limit to using this over the web? I have a client that this would be ideal for, but they need to upload several hundred megabytes (per .mov) of quicktime video files.
Thanks

Can the directories be restricted to only certain login IDs? if so, you have another sale!
kendo451says
It would be more useful if you could zip/tar/gz and unzip/untar files with it.

Hello, I am having the same “Please don’t access this page” problem as nsaf. I have sent you an email regarding this. Great file! Thank you

Vasilios, I sent you an email a couple of days ago per your request but no answer. As suggested in the instructions I changed the config.php upload limit to a 100MB, but only takes up to 8MB uploads. I would appreciate a prompt answer to this needed fix.
Thanks.

I need support here Vasilios, uploads still don’t work above 8MBs…?

hi
it is well done. Thanks for this.
Is it any way to any order with directories an than with files too? I think would be nice to order all by name.
Anyway i like it

I have sent you several emails and you have not responded. The save button does not update any of the information and have tried CHMOD ’ing everything from 644 to 777 and nothing works. When I try to delete a file, it’s says invalid token…

Version 1.1.1 is out. Please update, fixes a few bugs with certain things.

vasilios,
I have sent an email about this but didn’t get a response so I’m trying here. I can see by your responses on here that you probably don’t intentionally ignore emails so I won’t go into panic mode yet…haha I’m sure you’re just busy.
Anyway, I can browse all my files but when I try to edit one it says:
“Error!
The directory you selected is invalid.”
I’m sure it must have something to do with my config settings.
The config settings are as follows:
// Path to the install of this script. $path = ‘http://www.mydomain.com/dev/ftp/’;
// The top most directory to look for files under. // NO RELATIVE PATHS ! Absolute paths ONLY . $start_dir = ’../’;
I know it says absolute paths, but I’m not sure what that is or where to find it, plus if I change it to ./ I can browse the FTPLess files and edit them no problem so in theory, shouldn’t ../ work the same way?
Thanks in advance, Twitch
Hmmm I don’t remember getting an email from you about this. I don’t delete emails until I resolved a problem so it might not have gotten through?
As for the error, did you upgrade to a new release that I did about two days ago? If you didn’t can you download the new version (1.1.1) and see if you still get the same error? If you do I’ll look into what might be causing it!
Yep same error with version 1.1.1 Sorry about the email confusion. I figured it was something like that cause you replied very quickly the first time I emailed you about FTPLess. I sent it from your profile page so I can’t check my sent mail. Maybe something is up with my account cause I haven’t gotten a response from another developer I bought from.
Anyway, thanks for this quick reply.
Also, to give more information, it doesn’t upload files either. I tried to upload a .jpg and it acts like it’s working fine, but the image doesn’t actually upload.
Didn’t know if this would help in your troubleshooting. I’m sure they are probably both related to the same problem.
Thanks in advance!
