Very nice plugin. Hope you do well with it
Very nice plugin. Hope you do well with it
Looks like a pretty cool plugin.
Thanks WPExplorer! Tried to make it so that the UI felt ‘part’ of WordPress and that it was easy to use. Hopefully some folks can find a use for it for them or their clients – makes an order take literally 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes (no need to wait for payment gateway emails and the like).
Again, thanks for the nice comment.
I will be adding it to my site as soon as I get a change
Hi,
I just want to build a pre-order form for products with discounts and the ability to have the items emailed and ready people to pick-up their products on the day of an event.
Basically, a pre-order form.
Would this just do that? It looks exactly like what I need. If we aren’t actually purchasing products online, do I still need to install WP-E-Commerce?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Drew,
Thanks for the question. This plugin basically creates an order from the back-end of the system. i.e. someone doesn’t have to go through the cart/checkout procedure. (i.e. no payment details to enter). It doesn’t do precisely what you want, but as far as I know, there isn’t a pre-order plugin for WP E -Commerce, so this is probably about as close as there is to it at the moment.
It has to be an administrator that creates the order, NOT a casual visitor to the site, as they have to be logged in to the back end and have privileges to create orders.
When you create the order, an e-mail is generated and the stock (if you have limited amounts) is taken out of the system.
Again, thanks for the question.
Best regards,

Hi there,
I need something like this plugin, however it is important for my client (for whom I am purchasing) it that a manual order created with the plugin can be linked to a user in Wordpress/Wp eCommerce. The reason for this is that customers should be able to view products that they’ve ordered in their order history. Is this possible or would it be relatively easy to add this functionality?
Regards,
Mike
Hi,
I have similar requirements as mjmcmahon, I need to be able to link the manual processing back to a WordPress user for tracking the order history.
Is this functionality supported?
Thanks
Brett
Hi BrettAU,
As far as I understand it, WP E -Commerce doesn’t actually support full-on user tracking at the moment so it is not possible to link orders to users, hence why my plugin doesn’t support it – because the plugin it’s based on doesn’t actually offer that functionality.
It would probably be possible for me to add a rudimentary order tracking system on top of this, but it would require quite a lot of extra development time and the need for this doesn’t seem to be that strong at the moment. So sadly, this feature isn’t part of the development plan for this plugin at the moment.
If you do find something which actually offers this, then please do let me know and I’ll take a look into how they do it and see if I can add this for you.
Best regards

Hi,
I would like for the customer to be able to order the product from their admin panel without giving them super admin access. Is this possible? Also, would they be able to view their purchases?
Regards, Jayquizzel
Hi jayquizzel,
Thanks for the question. This plugin isn’t for casual visitors to your site to use, it is for the site admin. So if I understand you correctly, this plugin doesn’t quite tick the right boxes for your needs, I’m afraid. With the update of wp e-commerce coming very soon – which is a major overhaul to the way the plugin works, I will be updating this plugin and hopefully adding some requested features such as for users to be able to track their purchases that are manually created.
However, I don’t really see the value in allowing casual visitors to be able to place a manual order. A plugin for WP E -Commerce requires that the user be able to see the top-level menu item for Products (in the new version) and so they will always need access rights above just a ‘subscriber’ to be able to see it. It would possibly be an option to create a completely standalone plugin which would do what you want – if you’re interested in that then certainly give me an e-mail (through my profile page here on CodeCanyon) – but as a plugin for a plugin (which this item is) there simply isn’t a way for it to work for you if I understand your needs correctly.
Best regards from a snowy and chilly Manchester, England.
Does this plugin work with ep e-commerce 3.8?
Hi Snacktreat,
When WP E -commerce 3.8 final is released, I shall update this plugin. The entire architecture of WP E -commerce has changed from 3.7 to 3.8 so it will almost certainly be a rewrite. I should be also adding features such as tracking orders for logged in users, too.
Before I buy this plugin, I just want to know if you already implemented what mjmcmahon suggested.
Thanks.
Kaixer – thanks for the question. At the moment that feature has not been added, however it is in the works. I’m just waiting for the WP E -Commerce plugin itself to settle down as there’s been large changes made to the way that plugin works within WordPress. Once the hotfixes and nightly versions calm down a little, and the codebase becomes relatively stable, I’ll implement this feature.
I have updated this plugin to work with WP E -Commerce 3.8 (and with backwards compatibility) as several people needed that, however.
1 more question, if I use manual order, is it possible for my client to login and see their transaction results? history? and Account detail?
Kaixer, thanks for the question. I’m not sure I understand it though as it seems to be the same question you asked previously?
All manual orders are stored in the exact same way as orders placed through the front end of the website – so they appear in the purchase log. (If that’s what you’re asking?). i.e. anyone with privileges to log into the back end of WordPress and see the Products menu can see the order logs – including the manual orders.
Thanks again
@iamfriendly
Hello Friendly,
nice plug in, but not exactly what i expected.
If i might suggest something then it would be like: in back end create a user who will change the processing on front end so that during the calling wpsc-shopping cart page ask for user and if user eq that from back end go jump over the credits and move right away to process order page.
Anyway if it would be also nice when this plug in uses some cookies and i do not have to fill out the form each time i make an order.
mAqq
Hi mAqq, firstly, thank you for the purchase. I really appreciate it.
Your suggestions are excellent. I’ll see if I can work out a way to do this via the plugin, however, it would be very difficult to do without making changes to the theme. If other people start requesting something like this then I’ll look into it further, but as I understand it at the moment, it’s not a quick, easy or even possible job.
Again, though, thanks very much.
@iamfriendly
Can this plugin also be used to edit orders that have already been made?
iamfriendly, just a few questions.
Your plugin does not operate from the front end in any way – as in, it cannot be applied to products running at the front of the site so that when a user creates an order from the site, the information would have to be parsed through the WPE payment gateway, and not be stored in admin for admin to retrieve the information and process it – right?
Thanks man for your work all the same

Hi
Does this plugin support product variations?
thanks
Hello – this plugin isn’t installing on my site. I’ve tried using the upload interface, copying the files directly to the plugins directory, and just copying the “the-plugin” directory to the plugins directory. It’s not showing up in my Installed Plugins list. Can you please assist?
Hi,
Thanks for buying the plugin. It’s not actually “the-plugin” folder you need to copy, it’s the folder INSIDE there. After that you may need to adjust the permissions of the folder so that WordPress can see it.
If you’re unsure on that, try http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
I assume you’ve also installed WPEC beforehand, too? (Sorry if that’s patronising, I just need to check
)
Thanks again!
I just bought it and I also think the process to install it is TOO confusing. WP and WPEC users are used to install plugins by the “upload plugin”, and in general we don’t like/ don’t know how to uploads files manually (that’s why we use WP anyway). We don’t need a zip file with all that images – we saw them before in this website. We just need something ready to install!
It’s an amazing plugin, just wondering if you could help us on this…
prilhacer,
Thanks for buying it. Envato insists that you package your files up with help documentation and other stuff (including licenses etc.) There’s literally nothing we can do about it.
You can still upload it via the WordPress uploader, there’s nothing stopping you, but as I said, I can’t just provide the zip file as it wouldn’t be approved by the CodeCanyon mods wouldn’t approve it. My hands are tied.
Also… some people aren’t quite so experienced as you seem to be, so they need the help documentation. (Which is why Envato insist on it in the first place).
Hope that clears that up.
Can this be used with Cart66?
