Bought it but hover and focus don’t work in non-FF browsers? Why don’t you add support for these states?

Also, use :active rather than :focus since :active works in non-FF browsers also. Just a tip but I think you would have done it for good :bigwink:

Hi!

Thanks for your purchases! Yes you can use them, but you will probably need to modify some css a little. I’ve never done this for Showtime so I can’t tell you much about it. Thanks again and cheers! :)

Any plan to make buttons where you could add any icon ? at least the most popular action such download button, upload, next, previous, and shopping cart icons would be fantastic !

Hi there!

Should be pretty easy to modify these buttons with some icons on your own if you have some html/css skills. Not sure if I will make an update or a new item of such buttons, lots of work on WP themes atm. But thanks for your interest, have a great day! Cheers! :)

Hi!

This is a great set of buttons!

I’ve tried viewing in IE6 (arghhhhhh) and it seems that I’m getting a double left and right padding on the button.

I’ve tried changing display:inline-block to display:inline and removing it all together but still no luck.

Any ideas?!

Thanks,

Steve

Hi there and thanks for your purchase!

We are going through some big changes at the moment and I have to kindly ask you to post all of your questions on our new support forum. Support for all of our items on Envato network will be provided only there -> which means that the current email or comment support is no longer active!

1) In order to register you need to go through a very fast and easy process, explained in these forum threads:

http://support.freshface.net/viewforum.php?f=14 (Start reading the “How to start” thread)

2) This forum solution will greatly help all of our customers because, as you’ve probably noticed by now, there isn’t any search or topic sorting around here. It will also help our support team, because we receive the same questions all over again.

3) Support forum as you see it now is a default styled PHPBB3 forum which will of course go through some customizations (design, sorting, layout, de-cluttering, simplifying, etc.), but we’ve decided to launch it right away, without polishing it for many weeks before hand -> just to bring you better support faster.

We sincerely hope you will appreciate it and register there as a proud member of our fresh themes community.

That’s all for now, so let’s get the ball rolling on the new forums – see you guys there! :)

Yours sincerely, freshface

Really nice buttons, I find that they look better if you change all of the :focus to :active so they don’t stay in the “pressed” state after being clicked.

I think the “pressed” states of the white and grey buttons are too dark but apart from that, for $2 it’s a steal.

I am also trying to get Fresh Buttons to work inside the Showtime theme. Do you have any recommendations to get it to work? I uploaded the buttons.css file to my root directory folder containing all the css files. I cut and pasted the link code into the header.php file. I tried to insert the button using the html code you provided but to no avail. Any advice?

Thanks,

Bushfire (already posted in the forum and awaiting answer)

Hi there!

Can you please post here a link to your site where you tried to do that? I would need to see it as I don’t know what exactly is the issue there.

Thanks and cheers! :)

Freshface,

Thank you for replying. I figured out a way to get it to work by simply cut and pasting the button css code into the style sheet for Showtime. The buttons work great! Thank you!

Are these CSS buttons cross browser compatible? Do they look good in the main major web browsers such as Safari, Chrome, Firefox and…. IE?

Hi,

I bought this set and really like the style. However, what I don’t understand is why you keep repeating yourself in the css code. Instead of naming your rules ‘btn_red’, ‘btn_blue’ etc. it would make much more sense to name them ‘btn.red’ or ‘btn.blue’.

This way you can apply common css values via

.btn {}

and subclass the colors:

.btn.blue {} .btn.green {}

That way you gain big advantages: 1. Your code is much smaller in size. 2. Your code becomes more easy to maintain and understand. 3. Customers will find it much easier to customize the buttons generically via .btn{} instead of applying the same customizations to each color class separately.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Thanks for your suggestion, you are of course right. I just had to be more thoughtful to the biggest beginners in CSS by doing it more concentrated like that. It was just a decision made by me. I think pros like you can easily convert to btn.red solution if needed, there isn’t that much of a code imo.

Thanks and cheers! :)

Hi,

thanks for your quick reply.

It dawned on me later that you are being considerate of the entire range of customers (from newbies to pros) here at code canyon. It’s absolutely understandable that you used a less complicated approach.

And, let me make this clear, it does not in any way belittle the product’s value, which is a great bargain at that price.

Thank you very much!

Thanks Daddy!

Yeah, a mindset has to be changed when releasing products for the whole spectrum which can sometimes result in the loss of juicy professional solutions some users would not understand. Look at iPhone, no public file system etc.

Thanks again and cheers! :)

How do you implement it. I don’t get how you mix the HTML which you edit with the CSS
