Hi,

I have the Avada theme and just downloaded the Foobar. I followed the instructions, zipped the foobar folder and tried to upload it and it keeps giving me an error saying that no plugin is detected. Help!

I am not sure why you are zipping anything. Upload the zip file you download directly to your server and it should work fine

Hello,

I just purchased it, and created a foobar, while it shows up perfectly on the edit page, it won’t come up on the front of the website. Any idea?

The website is mindofmedia.eu

hi there,

Did you choose a default FooBar from the settings page? I looked at your page and the scripts are not being included on the page at all, so it seems there is no default set.

Hello, how would I be able to get a PNG graphic with a transparent background to appear in the background of the foobar but extend past it? I would like the image to look as though it’s popping out of the foobar…

Thanks!

Pre-Sales question. Can I add you company logo? Can I use it on a footer?

themergency

yes and yes :)

I read in your comments from about a year ago that you planned to add an option in your next update that would let users define a start and an end date for the bar to be shown. I see that your last update was on 18 February 14.

Can you please tell me if this option has been added and if so where I can find it?

It this is not currently an option can you please tell me if you still plan to add it and when it might be released?

Thanks.

Can you please make the “FooBar Messages” field a standard WordPress WYSIWYG field so I can format it using the native WordPress editor and directly insert content and shortcodes from plugins such WP Edit Pro or Visual Composer?

hi – we are in the process of a complete rewrite for FooBar. This should be completed by the end of the year as we have a lot of changes planned

Okay, thanks.

Hi, Can I use this license in multiple personal websites of mine?

themergency

The GPL license allows you to do what you like with the plugin once you have purchased, however, a valid codecanyon license is valid for a single site

Has it been tested in 4.0?

This one has a begin and end date – but doesn’t look as polished as yours – http://codecanyon.net/item/unlimited-popups-wordpress-plugin/8575498 .

Hi,

First of all, I love your plugin! However, when I deactivate it for a page, the bar doesn’t show up, but a white space saying:

ga(‘require’, ‘displayfeatures’); ga(‘send’,’pageview’);

How can I get rid of that? I work with a template of Elegant Themes and Wordpress 4.0. Hope you can help me out! It looks like an error on the page which is never good on a sales page!

http://wordpressexamples.com If you close the foobar on the right it will become clear what I mean. And when I disable the foobar, that shows continually. Thanks for your help!

I see what you mean, but that content is not generated by FooBar – it seems there is another plugin that is not outputting correctly – check in dev tools to see the script errors and the source of the problem

Thanks, it was a misconfiguration of the Google Analytics plugin from Yoast. My bad (not the plugin’s bad). Anyway, wouldn’t have found it if you hadn’t looked at it, so thanks a million!

Hi there! Can you give me a short explanation what it means when I enable Scripts in Footer in Advanced Settings Tab?

Thanks :-)

themergency

hello – sure thing. By default the foobar scripts are added to the header of the page. Some people prefer to send them to the footer for performance reasons

Hi, I just purchased Foobar, I’ve disabled foobar from on mobile (in the advanced menu) but it stills appear when I look on my site on my iphone.

How can this be fixed? Thanks

Hello, Just bought your plugin which is great BTW! I have one small problem with custom CSS. the bar is perfect on the setup page but it’s not working perfectly on the front end. May be something with CSS conflict. I put each CSS line in !important but still not working.

Here is my code: .butoonbar { background-color:#c1ae68!important; border-bottom-left-radius:0px!important; text-indent:0px!important; border:1px solid #ffffff!important; display:inline-block!important; color:#ffffff!important; font-family:Trebuchet MS!important; font-size:14px!important; font-weight:normal!important; font-style:normal!important; height:30px!important; line-height:30px!important; width:90px!important; text-decoration:none!important; text-align:center!important; }.butoonbar:hover { background-color:#ffffff!important; color:#C1AE68!important; border:1px solid #C1AE68!important; } .butoonbar:active { position:relative!important; top:1px!important; color: #c1ae68!important; text-color: #c1ae68!important; } a:hover { background-color: transparent!important; border: 1px solid #ffffff!important; }

Is there any thing i’m doing wrong? Many thanks for your help

I purchased foobar over a year ago and love it. I sent a support request asking if it does email optins like Hello bar but haven’t received a response. Is this currently supported, and if not, will it soon?

themergency

sorry for the slow response – FooBar is in the process of a complete rewrite. You can add email signup forms using custom HTML at the moment. See this demo : http://themergency.com/foobar-wordpress-plugin/foobar-demo-mailchimp-signup-form/
