Great script (love also your excellent TVDB script!).
Hi,
this is a great script, but I’m a bit confused about it’s useage..
when you click on one of the films in the list it goes to your blog, so if I was to use this script would it integrate with my exsisting website, or is it a standalone website sort of thing?.
would there be a way for only registered users to be able to add films? and a way to block them from adding certain material, ie, porn etc..?
Thanks
Martin
The Film link shouldn’t go my website, it should just open a tooltip on hover. That’s now been sorted.
As to it’s usage the script uses a PHP class that interacts with themoviedb.org website to grab info and images, you could use that to integrate it with your website. The demo is just how one could use it.
You could create an admin area so that only registered users can add/edit/delete etc, not too sure on the blocking of certain material though.
If you want any custom work doing, just let me know.
Hi !
Interesting script ! I just have 2 questions, please (also available for TVdb) :
1) Is it possible to filter data import by language ? For example, I only want to import movies and TV shows in French. And if no data are available, I may can import in English…
2) If a data is not available on the TVdb.org website, can I manually create it on my own website ?
Hope i’m clear

This is a super awesome idea and I really like the script. I have just a few suggestions that would probably boost your sales, if that is something your interested in. At first glance I feel this is a great start, but it is just missing some minor features that would benefit a lot of people.
1. Import from csv features. If I was able to import my current database that I have from my excel file and populate the database id be sold.
2. With number 1 implemented I would also need some ability to create custom fields. Location being one. I have a huge list of movies but they are scattered all over my dvd cases within pages and pages of dvds. So I would need to be able to import that data into custom fields.
Just some ideas to think about if you were interested in. Great start but just falls short of me being able to use it with my current “DB” in excel.
