1. Does not work with large .zip files. Does not show file after uploading. File is 6mb. Naming convention has no spaces or special characters. I modified max upload size to 30 meg. 2. What is your solution for multiple users with different directories? 3. When the zip files get working, could there be an option to unzip in folder? Thx, Great product

1. Over 350 other buyers have not complained about large files 2. You must do session management 3. There is no unzipping

Is anyone having issues where the file upload hits 100% but then does nothing? It does it to me on video files. Is there a place to alter accepted files?

Looks like you may be uploading a file larger than the size you’re back-end server is configured to allow process. This means if the file is too big the request is ignored.

It seems to be mp4 files. MOVs work fine. Any ideas?

File extension is not important. You must make sure the video encoding is correct for each browser. Take a look at this tool http://html5videoformatconverter.com/

I have the maxFileSize set to 100000×100000x100000 in both the filemanager.php and filemanager.js. Did I miss something?

Those files you mention can only restrict file size at application level. However php has its own higher level settings which restrict upload size at server level.

You need to look into the php.ini file: http://php.net/manual/en/ini.core.php#ini.post-max-size

I have another question. I’m sorry to be a bother but is it possible to put the index file in the root, and then have the rest of the files in a directory named after a client. i.e. client = SSE so I have renamed the index file sse.html and moved it to the root and then the folder with the rest of the file is called SSE . This breaks everything even though I update the relative paths. Any ideas?

It’s not just the paths you must fix, you also have to tell the script the new name for the client’s directory inside the “manager.php” file.

Hey, I try and upload a file and it shows the progress bar etc. But when I check there is no file in the directory.

What’s going on?

It looks like you need to increase PHP ’s upload limit inside the php.ini file.

I didn’t do that check at first to be honest, I assumed there was an issue with the code because in the description it says it is comparable with Safari…

Also, when I rename or create a folder, it replaces a space or a symbol with an underscore. Is there a fix for this ?

The script is configured to do that. I’m planning to update the this but not immediately.

Looks great.

Can files be edited? Like maybe html, xhtml and such?

if not, do you have recommendation?

Thanks

Hi.

I am getting the error In ‘Order To Upload Files You Need To Install’ when I try to integrate it into a wordpress theme.

The file structure is perfect, as I left the original index.html file there to test.

I have also copied instances of the code throughout the site (root, themes folder) but to no avail.

Have you any suggestions?

No problem! ;) I use Parallels on Mac and just updated latest versions of IE9 , Firefox and Flash to Windows7 for troubleshooting purposes… Latest Firefox with Flash works as normal… IE9 only displays top right buttons above red line, ‘new folder’ and ‘upload files’... ‘files’ (in red) on left does not display below line… 1. New folders can be created, but do not show after creation… viewable in other browsers and FTP . 2. Uploading files does not prompt file selection or upload window… Summary: Nothing displays below red line, uploading not possible… Cheers :)

Please try testing it using an actual pc. We have had other customers using parallel who were having issues with IE9 . I don’t think IE9 works as it should on parallel.
