Facebook Connect and Viral tool for WordPress

This Facebook plugin for WordPress enables you to add some Facebook functionalities to your WordPress blog or website, including the Facebook connect functionalities (connecting with Facebook, creating a WordPress account using Facebook… ). This plugin also provides a way for blog owners to post updates to their user’s wall, and store their user’s emails for marketing or newsletter uses.

- Request the email permission from your users, and store it into your database.
- Ability to post updates (status, links, images…) to your user’s wall.
- Ability to customize the links posted (chose a thumbnail image, a caption, a description).
- Enables you to attach a Facebook account to your WordPress first admin user.
- 2 widgets support (Facebook connect widget and latest connected users widget).
- You can customize how many users are displayed in the widgets.
- Ability to display the Facebook connect button wherever you want in your theme(by adding a small PHP code provided in the documentation).

Installing the plugin the first time

Please make sure you try the plugin with a default WordPress theme (ex: Twenty ten) to make sure it works properly. Some themes are not coded properly and doesn’t always respect the official best practices for themes development, and can cause some plugins to not work properly. Knowing that will help diagnostic any problems you could have making this plugin work as expected.
