Can you actually view the analytic stats within the WP backend, or do you still have to go to the google analytics site to see the charts and graphs?

You still need to use Google Analytics to view the results.

This comment may be a little premature as I haven’t used this plugin, although I do plan to buy it soon, but this looks amazing! I am setting up GA, AS, with goals and conversion tracking for the company I work for. It has been a lot of work getting it all set up with our GA goals, our crazy # of adsense campaigns, tracking outbound links… If this is what I hope it is, you just made my day! I can’t use it at work as our site doesn’t and never will run on WP, but for a side proj I will be working on, I can’t wait to see what this can do!

I just purchased the plugin – so far it looks great.

In the same vein as the first comment – are you perhaps planning to make a dashboard snapshop option of the current days analytics in future releases?

Thank again,

Graham

Hi Sitebase

Since we can integrate Analytics and Adsense, is there any way we can track which post/article on our site got the adsense click without having to use channels?

I ask because you say it tracks events and incorporates Analytics and Adsense.

Thanks

Scott

I just purchased your plugin as part of the current Wordpress bundle, and I have one question. Does it utilize the updated asynchronous way of loading the Google analytics scripts?

Hey there ^^,

This was found on a 3.0.1 WP install :

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONST, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homez.167/atelierec/www/wp-content/plugins/extended-analytics/extended-analytics.php on line 21

Any clue ?

In advance thanks …

You need PHP5 for this plugin. You have PHP4 installed on your server. Contact your hosting provider for more information about how to update your PHP version.

Very interested to this plugin. My application specially needs to get per-user stats on their posts and a custom content type, like bios for example, and count of outbound link clicks per-user-content.

So the keywords are “per-user”, “custom-content-type” and “outbound clicks”.

Wondering if GA is capable to track and report those as well?

I imagine that is native for GA to count pageviews on any WP pages, default or custom. Just I am not sure if it can export report on per-user level.

I also imagine that I will need to setup up event to track outbound links, while I am not sure if I will setup per-link or per-user.

Please advise with more details that will help : )

This goes along with a comment above. So would it be possible to track which items get clicked on in an ecommerce site? Or is it just downloads?

Clicks on those links will be by default in your Google Analytics. You don’t need event tracking for this.

After installing your plugin, Google analytics is not registering goals when contact form is submitted. I am using ContactForm7 plugin. Before installing your plugin everything was working properly.

Can you please advise?
