Hi, I haven’t purchased yet cause I have 2 questions before: 1. let’s say i’m using custom background for categories. then, i want for all posts under that category have same background. also, if i have a post in multiple categories (eg: cars, devices) if I reach it by cars to have cars backgrounds and if i reach it from devices to have devices bg. 2. custom transition effects/possibility to create, add ?

Thanks in advance, AT

Hi AurelTirnovanu

You can assign backgrounds to individual pages, posts, custom post types, categories, archives, author backgrounds, search background, 404 background, front page, home page. However you can’t assign a different background depending on how you access the post.

What do you mean with your second question Custom effects/possibility to create?

hello, installed and while the bg works as expected i can not get the link to work. I tried to see if it has to do with my theme but no matter what combinations of z-index, floating etc i use the bg can not be clicked! probably a common issue, any quick fix?

Hi dtsio

Thank you for buying the plugin. We have an update that have not been submitted to Codecayon yet. If you go to our Helpdesk at http://support.righthere.com and submit a ticket we will send you the update. This update will be released on Codecanyon in a few days.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Version 3.1.7 rev24735 – May 11, 2012

* Improvement: When a Post or Page is assigned to multiple categories, when showing single Post or Page, the system will display the category background from which the Page or Post came from. So if you view category A and the Post is also assigned to category B and C, if you click on the Post, it will display the category A background.

Version 3.1.6 rev24515 – May 3, 2012

* New Feature: Enabled link on background for jQuery bgstretcher * Bug Fixed: Options Panel not saved on Mac

My client needs to change her background on the sidebar, I went trough the demo but couldn’t find any sidebar setting. Would it be possible to change the sidebar and/or the footer background as well as other background ?

thanks – it looks promising

Hi damaru

You need to use the selector tool and then assign the background to the “sidebar” area. However it depends on how your theme is build. If the sidebar doesn’t have its own “selector” you will not be able to only add the background in the sidebar.

You can basically assign a background to any place in your theme theme that has a selector.

Hi salvadorcharlie

Thank you for buying the plugin. We will have to look at your site. It could be that you didn’t assign the correct selector for the background. Did you also assign the background to a template, page or post ?

If you go to our HelpDesk at http://support.righthere.com and submit a ticket – we can take a look at it. We will also need wp-admin access.

Then its because you didn’t assign the background to a selector. Did you take a look at all the screenshots that explains how the plugin works ?

You can also take a look at the documentation for the plugin. It will in details show you how it works. http://cloud.righthere.com/3b1K270r0Q1o0K2L3v0F

I didn’t say that you were not good with WordPress. However I can’t help you if you don’t provide us with a link to the website where you added the background.

And we will also need to see how you setup the background in wp-admin. We have seen this over and over again that people unfortunately don’t get the background assigned to the correct “selector”. Also some themes need a little bit of additional CSS in order to get the background to display.

Just saying that the plugin doesn’t work doesn’t make much sense. We need to look whether there is a Javascript conflict on your site, or as I mentioned before is you assigned it correctly.

We will be happy to assist you if submit a ticket at our HelpDesk (http://support.righthere.com).
