I just downloaded this file and am testing it out in Chrome but it’s not working. Is there an issue with Chrome?

Most versions of Chrome are fine. The very latest dev version seems to be screwing it up and putting the Flash content (that video I chucked in there as an example) on top.

I filed a bug report with Chrome: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=47840

So it’s not officially a bug (although I’d still call it one, grumble) It’s just the classic issue of wmode=transparent. If you put that on any flash content you put inside the tabs (as part of the embed AND object tags) it should be fine.

Please warn people that this does not work in IE. I just purchased it only to find that it does not support IE and you have to go out and find a javascript alternative.

works very well, but I need the box to fit to content, if some tabs have lengthier text. is there a way to do that? Current;y it’s 4xx px tall and I need it to auto fit

Hi Chris, I just bought this item and I’m having a small problem. I embedded your code into my web page and everything works fine except, when I click on the tabs, my web page automatically jumps or snaps to the top of the browser window.

How do I stop this? I want the my page to stay still when I select tabs…

I hope that made sense, I tried to explain it the best way I could!

Talk to you soon! and thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I agree with the above comments – could you make a clearer note on the Details page that this doesn’t currently work in IE 8 or below, as per your readme file?

I know it’s only $4, but I just bought it thinking I would be able to use it on a site that is accessed by all browsers – bit frustrating as I now have to look for something else.

Hey Chris,

It all works fine for me, except that I can never get the last tab to show – I have to put a blank tab after it just to make it show, but that causes things to go all buggy and crazy. It does this in your examples provided and in my own tests, on both Chrome and Firefox.

This error starts to happen when you have more than three tabs. Is there any reason or fix to this?

Thanks

I’m also having issues with sizing… if I enforce a height, it looks weird on shorter tabs… if I don’t, the longer ones break. Is there a ‘proper’ way to auto-size the tabs or enable scrolling on just the interior content area?

Hi,

Nice work, but if I embed an video as object (you code) or iframe like YouTube it don’t work in IE9 . The video show on top on all tabs.

Any suggestions?
