Simple to install (copy the files) and easy to understand (look at examples). Also makes a nice simple menu system e.g. link on left, php page in panel on right. Thanks.
i’m glad you like it, i’ve updated the code so it works inside “framed” pages as well .. i noticed it wasn’t working properly inside “live preview” of envato because i was using the “location.hash” function to move to content (when in alternate display mode), so i replaced that part with a better piece of code .. and added a few helper functions as well .. i’ve submitted the updated file for review, but if you’d like me to send you the updated code right away, kindly drop me an email and i’ll send it asap ..
and thank you for purchasing the script
!
I’m Not really understanding the instructions or examples. I’m trying to use this as a page naviation, is this possible?
send me an email with all the problems ur facing, and i’ll help you as much as i can .. there is a sample bare-bones example provided, which can get you up and running quickly .. little knowledge of JavaScript might be required to understand how the script works .. e-mail me via my contact page and i’ll see what i can do ..
Just wanted to give you feedback that this is a great script. Easy to understand and use, easy to plop into a site. And nice documentation. Thanks for a nice product!
Daniyal – You commented on my request for an online white paper navigator to try using your script. As you can see above, I did buy your script to get some ideas and tried it out here:

I’m now trying to go to the next level…
I am sorting out which script to buy jQuery or MooTools so I read this article http://jqueryvsmootools.com I am not a programmer but if I understood this article correctly then the potentially enhanced MooTools version may not be “standard” so to speak. This is not a problem for most but in my case I need to utilize the Javascript with other scripts to use in Titanium then to an iPhone and possibly also an Android app. I thought I’d work and test out my app by creating an HTML page first since this is what I know how to do. However, I want to minimize potential issues from the get go. Also with the licensing here I am not clear what happens when you go from a web use version to an app use, if you know what I mean…still a single use but I am not clear on how that works.
First off, the Moo vs. jQuery debate is quite old and to be honest when I was starting off with JavaScript libraries, I had a hard time choosing one too, until it was clear to me that both, Moo and jQuery, were made for different purposes. MooTools is targeted towards developers while jQuery is made for designers. So keeping that in mind, jQuery is relatively easier to use and learn than MooTools. Apart from that, jQuery is good for DOM manipulation, while MooTools is a far better choice for web app development.
Coming to the second part of your worries; if you’re looking to use a library for mobile app development, Titanium won’t have much to do with that. In newer versions of Titanium (1.5+), you can only make use of JavaScript libraries if you’re implementing a custom WebView in your app which will link to a webpage, on which you will have your JavaScript libraries etc. (look at sample Titanium Apps for further clarification). If you insist on using JavaScript libraries for mobile app development then consider jQuery Mobile, MooTools Mobile or PhoneGap or simply HTML5 . The difference here would be that with Titanium you’ll be able to develop the app using native phone UI elements while using JS Libraries, you’ll be limited to the phone’s browser (but you can obviously overcome that by using Titanium’s WebView and loading a webpage in it which uses the JS Libraries).
About the licensing; I think it’s quite clear that if you intend to use any script in a version of your script that you intend to re-sell, you’ll have to buy the extended license. If you’re not sure about this, then you can always contact support for clarification. But, it’s always best to first buy regular license, try out the script before you spend a lot of money.
And, by the way, I started work on a similar script in Titanium but halted work for now because Titanium is very buggy at the moment; will wait till March when they come up with a new version.
Hope that answers all your questions.
Thank you very much for your effort here. I know what you mean about reselling as far as the license goes, but what happens after the code is remade for another application—this is where I am confused?
I have no problem paying for an extended license if that is what I need to do. At this point I am just using code to set up how the app will work so that would come later in any case.
However, I am not sure what happens after what ever I create is converted in software like Titanium or by a programmer to get it to work in XCode as a native app. I am somewhat lost on this part of the chain of events.
Would you mind if I emailed you from your contact page about what I have in mind, perhaps you could help me with the correct choices of what you have to offer or can make?
Hi, I like the script- I was wondering if it is possible to link to a certain section of content from another html page?
