I have bought the script, but I see an empty screen in the list of keywords. I have added the domain and keywords. I have set the cronjob every hour and I’ve run manually.
I see the data in the tables, but I see nothing in my interface :’(

I am e-mailing this and replying to your comment for other’s benefit because your issues encompass pretty much all of the problems people have with the script. 4 things could be causing your problem:
You have PHP 5.2.17 installed and PHP 5.3+ is required.
When you entered the domain you put http:// – remove that…you should only put the subdomain, so if you use www. include that (if not, then don’t), but do not include the http:// under any circumstances.
You have a duplicate keyword in the keywords table. Remove either id 46 or 47.
You have 290 keywords in the database and are not using proxies. There is no way that will work. I would recommend getting 8 proxies to be able to support that many keywords (approximately 1 proxy per 40 keywords, minimum 2).

Yes. This is most easily done for Google…just search/replace the google.com in addkeywords, refreshkeyword and scrape PHP files with your Google of choice…Bing’s is a little more complicated but it’s do-able.
Can you tell me how to set it to find more than top 50 results?
change $howmanyresults variable in scrape.php, refreshkeyword.php and addkeywords.php. I don’t recommend this for multiple reasons, but mostly because 50+ results have A LOT of variance, they dont really matter other than letting clients know just how horrible their SEO currently is and that’s going to be a lot of scraping, the more results you scrape the more proxies you’ll need.
Also, program seems to act flakey. I added a new site, with only 3 keywords. No http://. No results showing. ranking table empty. scrape errors empty
I only got it to work one time when first isntalled, using one keyword. after I saw the one keyword worked, I added like 30 keywords to that campaign, and it never showed up in results. waited like 10 minutes to see any more, just the first one entered showed.
deleted campaign, made new one with 30 keywods from beginning, none showed.
deleted that, made new campign with new domain, and just 3 kws, nothign showing.
Also date says for Jan 01, 1970 under Exceptional Rankings

Hello jdgower, One of my client has purchased SERP Tracking application from you. He is getting some warning messages and couldn’t run the application properly. He asked me to fix the issue. I am looking into the application folder named “files”. I am unable to understand the flow of application. He suggested me to follow scrape.php file but I didn’t find any file that is using scrape.php. Is scrape.php file is independent? Please provide me the info so that I can fix the issue. If you/he sends me the URL I’d be happy to take a look at it. Anyhow, scrape.php is simply run by the cron job that has to be setup and it is independent from every other script. In actuality, addkeywords, scrape and refreshkeyword are all very similar.
Here I have added few website and some keywords in each website. In the database I can see daily_results table is being filled up with data. It is near about 500 records. Rankings and scrape_errors table are filled up with only one record.
When I click on the website using “Select a campaign” option in the top then I can see the graph with empty, stating that “No data available in table”. Can you tell me why I am not getting data here?
I have uploaded the application in my own server, also set up the database there. Do I need to do something else apart from uploading the files in server and setting up the database?

Hi there. I would like to track rankings of around 1,000 keywords for my site. Any thoughts around how many different proxies I would need in order to have nightly rank updates run successfully?
Also, is there anything that blocks me from adding a duplicate keyword? Let’s say I a add a keyword on day 1, but then try to add the same keyword again on day 10. Is there anything in place that will tell me that the keyword is already being tracked?

First question – that’s gonna be tough. I’d normally recommend at least 1 proxy for every 40 keywords (minimum 2)...and that’s with 50 results…do the math and that’s 1 proxy for every 2 keywords.
Second question – strange question. I really should fix that, right? Anyway, no, and further – it will let you add the keyword and it will actually break the script.
May I ask does this support reporting. I like the look of the script but I would want to export the results of a campaign to a PDF? Does this allow this?
It does not. I’m sure you could build it as it’s all put into a mysql database, but it doesn’t support it out of the box. Sorry.

Is there any update ? This script doesn’t work long time and I don’t see any update.
The script works. Please PM me your info and I’ll take a look for you to see what’s going on. Also, the warning you mention is because there are no competitors on one or all of your campaigns. It will not stop the script from working.

1. installed the script 2. setup one website and 10 keywords 3. I get a list of all my competitors in the cron email but nothing populates in the portal empty – does not work for me
