Also, I would like to change the value in height. Right now on my site, the calender is more rectangular, I would like to change the height to be more square or symmetrical.

That would be a pretty neat feature, altough it’s not implemented by default. If you know a little of jQuery-fu, you could make an ajax call, find the element on the response and inject it to the markup.
I’ll add it to the pending features, altough I can’t compromise with a date as I’m a little busy at the moment.

Unfortunately, no, the days are highlighted automatically based on the activity. However, you could hack the script, but I can’t assure you it will be easy.

Is there a way to adjust the width of the widget? When in sidebar or footer it is far too wide by “two days”. The width of the sidebar is 280 but the widget is showing at 380 px wide.

Hello. Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately I had tried that already however, I do not have a style_alternate.css . The FAQ was referencing to Popular Post Bars but I changed the current code in styles.css to .colorful_calendar{ width: 80% !important; color: #000 !important; and still there was no change whatsoever. While this is my third Theme, the two that are a responsive design cannot seem to display the widget properly – not sure if that is related.

Thanks for your purchase and happy holidays! As for your question, check the widget’s option, there’s a separator field that by default adds a comma and inserts a line break.

I am hoping you can help me. I already contacted Themeforest / Envato support but I don’t expect a reply from them until Monday because it is a weekend.
Your calendar looks very nice, great job. However I do not know Wordpress and I always purchase only html site templates, I have NEVER purchased a Wordpress item from the marketplaces.
I just noticed the account balance on my TF account was at $0 and shouldn’t have been and I checked my ‘Downloads/Purchases’ history and it shows this item (your calendar) as the item I have most recently bought, but I did NOT buy it. (Again no offense, it looks great, but Wordpress items are of no use to me.)
I think my Themeforest account must have been hacked, or maybe Themeforest itself has been hacked, I don’t know, but I did not buy your item. I’ve been using Themeforest for over 2 years now and have never experienced anything like this so it seems very out of the ordinary and startling to me.
Just an FYI, hoping you can help me speed up the refund process because there is another item (an html site template, as usual) that I need to buy with the funds that WERE in my account but are now gone.

Please re-download the file. In the zip file, there is a new directory named
locales, inside are two files: a.pofile and a.mofile, the first one is a file you can edit, the other one is machine-read only, you can generate this file with a tool like this one.You can now use that structure to add your language’s translation file. I could do this myself, but as I am not prolific in portuguese, the translation might sound google-translate cheap.
If you could be so kind, you can send it to me when it’s done so other users can enjoy it too.

I’ve added it to the plugin’s locales. The month names are fetched from the WP defaults and it should work just fine.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to develop the script into other platforms, as it heavily relies on WP’s conventions (table names and fields, configuration, hooks to widgets).
Altough, if you know some PHP-fu, you could check the source code and make a port yourself for your platform of choice.
