Will this be crawled and indexed as text or an image? Wouldn’t want to get into any keyword stuffing trouble here…

This will be seen as an image, same as any background image.

I’m not sure many search engines index css background images anyways, since they don’t have alt tags and have nondescriptive file names. And if they did, I can’t see them wanting to ocr ever image. Happy for someone to correct me on this one.

would it be hard to have the text come from something typed in a form?

I wonder, if it could be possible to have the words in a diagonal orientation, as seen on the preview image
