Thanks for mentioning. I have contacted my host and it will be live again soon
It’s up and running again.
thanks
No problem. Hope you like it
How does this system work?
Where does it get the “antivirus” updates from (signatures)?
Does it also scan PHP files for malicious code, XSS vulnerabilities and SQL Injections?
It’s getting results from virustotal.com
Hi,
i ness information to your script. How it works. When we upload a file jpg or file or video the file is on the server. The check must be try on the fly?
How you update antivirus signatures?
The scanning process take at least two minutes. It’s impossible to verify if a file is safe on the fly (if the file has not been validated before).
Results are from virustotal.com
Ok thans.
I use a php Class for handle uploads like jpg/png and video formats.
So can your script validate any kind of file?
The Data from virustotal.com for virus signatures are automaticly updatet?
This looks really good..is there a way to integrate it on my current projects as well?

I can’t think of a reason why not. It’s easy to use and integrate. Will write a small tutorial at the documentation page when the next update will be ready
Can this test a remote file?
You can modify the file that it first needs to download the file and after that uploads the file again to the Virustotal servers
Demo credentials are not working!
thx.
It works for me ?
it works now.
This looks very promising. I would love to see a link to maybe a modal containing the report details in the event that a file is malicious. Or at least the URL which points to the MD5 resource reports:
https://www.virustotal.com/latest-scan/<resource>Where the <resource> equals the md5 hash. More info here: https://www.virustotal.com/faq/#virustotal-api.
Can you add that?
Also, one additional (separate or integrated) tool you should consider building is one that would be killer is doing this with the same API to analyse URLs! You have already done much of the work. I would buy it!!
Thanks!
It refreshes every 20 seconds.
Will consider it
Thanks for the tip
hi – just checking to see if you plan any of these updates in the near furture?
I’ve setup everything, including the API key but my files just say “In queue”.
Could you please offer some support, it’s been a week..
I already gave you some information about how you could get it working but you never replied to that.
Hi, Please can we create several accounts on this program ? Thank (beforehand) for your reply. Best regards.
Sorry my bad English US.
I already created a multi-user version but I wasn’t happy about the amount of code. I’m thinking about creating it on top of a PHP Framework. Nut sure when it will be done though
I’ve setup, including the API key but my files just say In queue do you help me??
Have you added the cron ?
no i try in localhost
you have video setup this application? Sorry my bad english
You need to call the cron file. Please read the setup cron part at https://bitbucket.org/nkootstra/anti-virus-uploader/wiki/Home
You can also call it from the browser to see if it works
Hope that helps
