Hi,

I was wondering if there was a way to add sub-domains outside of my server, I’ve tried but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Best Regards, Tom :-)

Sub-domains outside of your server should work fine – this may be a host’s restriction (not allowing fsockopen on remote hosts) – you could try using the IP address and see if that works?

If all else fails I could write up another method of opening the connection to remedy your issue

Just made a small update to make the loading and parsing of sites.php much more sound.

I’ll post again when it’s been accepted

I just purchased your script and it’s great, but I have a quick question… Is there a way to simply do a ping check to see if a server is up. I have some servers with no publicly available ports that I’d just like to show as being there.

Thanks

Not as a default function there isn’t, no. You raise an interesting point, though. I could probably add this into an update if you’d like?

That would be awesome if you added it at some point in the future.

is it possible to show the cpu load?

andrewmr andrewmr replied

If you want to display the CPU load of the remote server that will be a bit trickier, but to display the CPU load of the local machine (should) be trivial. If it’s a *nix based system it can be done in a few lines.

Shoot me an e-mail at andrew@wooshy.com and I’ll see if I can help

Is there any way to force the history to show a downtime in the even that the status checker doesn’t catch it?

Hi Tom, apologies for the delay – Envato isn’t letting me post comments for some reason. I’m not quite sure I understand what you’d like to do, what specifically do you want to happen?

Hi Sandra,

Take a look in the config file for the message presets, you can change it to whatever you want :)

If you’re still not sure, shoot me an email at andrew@wooshy.com

Hi, that is indeed how it works. The script is only executed when someone visits the page, if you want it to be continuous then you could set up a cron job to run the PHP file

Thanks, Andrew

hi, andrewmr

do you offer paid integration services?

Do you mean integrating the script into your own systems? If so, I do – I’ve got time from this Thursday afternoon onwards until mid January if that’s of any use to you?

If you do: wget http://domain.com/status/remote.php

that should do the job :)

If you send me an email with your site and what you want it to look like I can give you a quote, it won’t be too much I shouldn’t think, simple job.

I need to know if this will work how I want it to, is there any way I can get a demo set up to play with for a day or so before I commit to buy?

Actually I just purchased this, and it’s saying things are down when other online port checkers are saying they’re up/open?

Please contact me, my CodeCanyon username @ gmail dot com.

Would you be able to point me to where you’ve got it hosted? I’ve just checked my local copy and it seems to be working OK. What version of PHP are you using? Could be a few different issues, feel free to email me :)

Any issues that I have ever had with this have been my host screwing with me ;)

I wanted to drop by and say I’ve been using this for well over a year now, the email alerts are FANTASTIC and I absolutely love this script.

Starting my own web hosting business and I’ll be using it to monitor HTTP , PHP, SQL , and more. Thanks again Andrewmr!
