Hi,
Attempted server install but receive below error message after browsing for a image to upload…
Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromjpeg() in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\upload.php on line 102
Don’t have any database set up (wouldn’t need one) so have left those elements unchanged.
Sorry, the server (VPS) didn’t seem to have sufficient php libraries.
It’s working now on a different host
Can this script also crop the image so its square?
The error on the demo page is still there. After you upload a photo you get this above the thumb:
Warning: exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/zmeutz/public_html/demo/image_upload/upload.php on line 82
Hope that helps
Is there a way to set limits of how many items can be uploaded?
No multiple file upload???
It is faster to just use Light Image Resizer and upload!
Hi,
Have sent you a mail, but my issue could interest other people :
The upload is disabled when an image is loaded… How to enable it as the user could be able to change the image if he is not satisfied ? Many thanks…
Vincent
Great Script! But I have problems with my layout. There is the Code in the upload.php echo "<img src="\" . $write_image . \"" alt="\". $image .\"" width="500" /> So all images are displayed with width 500px, but smaller ones too. If I change width in max-width, wider images blow up my table-cell layout. Is it possible to scale-down all images in the display mode? It would be fine, if all images fits for example in a table-cell of 300px X 300px witout scale up and keep the proportions. Have anybody an idea for me? Sorry about bad english.
Hi, how can I make a form with the upload image and send the form to mysql until they click “submit”?
Hi,
Bought this plugin last week, BRILLIANT work!
Having problems using it in Firefox and Opera, users can’t see the Upload button in classipress.
Work beautifully in IE and Chrome? any ideas on what this could be?
Its said image was to small then completely disabled itself. Can it be set to reset itself after an error?
No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of this META -text when I share this on Facebook:
PHP / Ajax – Image upload and insert in database
PHP / Ajax – Image upload and insert in database, Image resizer and generate thumbnail
I have edited the META inside index.html, but it`s not showing.
...
One of the worst and most underdeveloped scripts ever, just a total waste of money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND .
I don’t want to use “index.html” I assumed I didn’t have to do, you did say “integration” in my pre-existing site… I’m not sure if you’ve even finished this script, I keep finding lines where you literally just trail off, or reference things that don’t exist, or are named something entirely different.
Hands down the most frustrating script I have ever encountered… ever.
You need to insert this javascript line in <head> </head> of your page
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”js/ajax.js”></script>
now the form and the div where results will be loaded from index.html -
(This is actually the same exact thing that is in index.html – your non-functional live preview cannot be the “working” example reference too.)
in <form action=”upload.php” method=”post” name=”image_upload” id=”image_upload” enctype=”multipart/form-data”> <input type=”file” size=”75” name=”uploadfile” id=”uploadfile” class=”file margin_5_0” onchange=”ajaxUpload(this.form);” /> please select image
</form>
Perhaps you could explain that to me. Found a forum where 3 other people attempted to assist another unfortunate individual with this script, so you may the only person that knows whats going on with this one.
