Good job!Good luck :)

Many thanks :)

Thanks for making this plugin. I have been looking for an affiliate system for payments made with Gravity Forms. It looks like this will do the trick, but can you please explain more about the additional Affiliates plugin that is required?

How much does it cost, and which version of it will work with this plugin? I checked the website but it’s confusing because there seem to be so many different versions of ‘Affiliates’ and I have no idea what the differences are. Thanks.

Another question, will this allow affiliates to create coupon codes for Gravity Forms that they can give out and that will be tracked to them when used? Thanks!

itthinx

Thanks for asking, there are three options – the free Affiliates plugin (you can install it directly from your WordPress Dashboard, Plugins > Add New and search for Affiliates) – the Pro version which adds features and the Enterprise version which adds more. Check out the documentation pages where details on each are explained http://www.itthinx.com/documentation/affiliates and give the free version a try, it’s fully functional.

As for the coupons, these are not supported yet with this integration, but it’s certainly a good idea to take into account.

Thanks for the reply.

It would be really helpful if you can add the coupon functionality, because now Gravity Forms has built in coupons. If you can add that, I’ll buy this and Affiliates Pro for sure. Thank you!

does your script generate a unique URL for every register as affiliate and track the URL or every register ?

itthinx

Why don’t you simply use the free Affiliates plugin for that? There’s even a free integration for Contact Form 7, both can be installed from within your WordPress dashboard.

may I ask you to guide me with free service do that affiliate system I mentioned ?

Hi, i just want to make referral tracking of my submission form (not involving payment or sale of any product) The GF is used like a survey form at the end of submission, user is prompted a referral url. Can this be used? Thanks

itthinx

Hi, except for the referral URL which I’m not sure about what role it plays for you in the registration, you can use it to record referrals for form submissions.

itthinx

PS : I would recommend to have a look at the documentation before you decide http://www.itthinx.com/documentation/affiliates-gravityforms/

Hi, I posted a support request on http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/affiliates-gravityforms/ this morning. Is that the right thing to do or would you like me to post here? Looking to get the problem resolved ASAP. Thanks!

itthinx

Hi, I assume you refer to this comment – let me know there please regarding the possible conflict I’ve mentioned in that comment.

Default-user

Yes – closing out on this one now. Sticking with the support forum on your site. Thanks!

itthinx

Perfect, thanks!

Hi,

I’m not looking to add each new user as an affiliate, just forward the leads referred by the affiliate directly to them. I’m paying them with leads vs money.

Can I add affiliates and then give them their affiliate link to refer to my site, rewarding them with the completed GF contact forms? If not, can you develop this for me?

itthinx

Hi, it sounds like a normal use case for this integration. Have you had a look at the documentation and the demo ? What you mention about rewarding them for submitted / completed forms is a typical use case covering lead capture and reward.

Default-user

yes, but it seems the documentation only shows the affiliate being rewarded for a completed form…it doesn’t mention the completed form being forwarded to them. does it do that…am i missing that in the documentation?

itthinx

It doesn’t forward the form to the affiliate but tokens based on form fields can be used.

Hi, There is nothing in your live preview O.o. so im just gonna ask a couple of question here before buying it. so Im gonna advertise on 2 different website and i wanna know how many people from each website submit the application that i made with gravity form. and i don’t wanna give those website access to my information. so i guess i make an account for them myself and then give them the links generated by Affiliates.

Does this addon do what i wanna do ?

cheer.

itthinx

Hi, if you don’t want them to be able to access the site then you would have to create the affiliate accounts without user accounts.

Hi there…

Can I tie this gravity form with the other Gravity Forms add-ons. I want to feed my affiliate list into Mailchimp.

itthinx

Hi, yes that’s possible. You can have those who subscribe through a particular form linked to MailChimp also added to a specific group.

Thanks but I asked this over a week ago. I had to purchase another plugin to go along with this one. It wasn’t working for me originally but I got it working.

itthinx

Ok thanks, sorry for the late reply.

Hi, For some reason it does not record the payments. it only records the hits. Do you know why this is happening. Can you have a look at it.

Regards

itthinx

Hi, sure let’s have a look.

Please post details on how you have set it up on the plugin support page: http://www.itthinx.com/plugins/affiliates-gravityforms/

Please also send admin access to the site to support at itthinx dot com and include a link to your comment on the support page.

Cheers

Any way to have a referral gravity form that has several fields and have all of those fields also populate into the referral section? (as they already populate in the gravity forms entries)

Also, I’m using user registration for affiliates and that’s working, but with my referral form (I put on the affiliates area screen so the logged in affiliates can enter their referrals) how do I make sure that the referral that the affiliate fills out credits the correct affiliate instead of saying ‘Direct’ under the referral in the back-end dashboard?

azsmall23

Also, one more for now… If an affiliate shares their link and a potential customer/referral clicks the link to go to the website and fills out a web form themselves (instead of the affiliate filling it out), how is that getting tracked back to credit the affiliate as well? Cookies?

itthinx

Hi,

Could you please provide access to the back end so I can have a look at the form? Please send credentials to support at itthinx dot com and include a link to your comment here.

Regarding your question, the normal process for a referral is after visiting an affiliate link the system checks if the cookie is there to determine the referrer.

Cheers

Just sent the email – thanks!

Your plugin looks like it’ll do the trick for me, my question (which I may have overlooked) is when they refer a freidn and they get credits is it possible that (via another form I use to place order from gravity forms) that they can use their credits they acquired from the referral program instead of paying via paypal?

itthinx

Hi,

No this wouldn’t be possible, sorry, but thanks for asking :)

This is a follow up question to the comment above regarding being able to forward a submitted form to the referring affiliate that’s link was used to generate the lead: #comment_6574519. You mention that “It doesn’t forward the form to the affiliate but tokens based on form fields can be used.”

Can you clarify if that means that tokens can be used in a Notification message which is sent to the affiliate that made the referral? Or how would you be able to use the tokens?

Thanks in advance, looking to pick up this plugin, but need to make sure it will work.

Ricardo

itthinx

Hi Ricardo,

The tokens that can be used depend on the integration. With the Gravity Forms integration and assuming you use Affiliates Pro or Enterprise (plain Affiliates does not provide that functionality), you have basic tokens (affiliate id, name, ...) available but not the form data. With the integration for Contact Form 7 you do have the form data available as tokens.

Cheers

Ok. I was wondering if those tokens can be used in the gravity forms notification window. So I want to be able to pull in the affiliate email address into the form right after it is submitted so they get a copy of the submitted information.

So essentially I need to know if the affiliate email or I’d is available as a variable upon form submission.

Thanks.

Default-user

Is that something that can “easily” be added to the integration? ie. would I be able to hire you to add that in for a (hint hint) small fee :)

itthinx

Thanks for the offer but due to implementation issues related to how the field values would have to be retrieved on form submission this is currently not possible, I can’t promise an ETA for that feature.

Default-user

Ok. Thanks for being upfront.

I’ve sent 3 emails to your website contact email with a pre-sale question about Affiliates Pro starting on Nov 6th but received no response. I’m reaching out here on CodeCanyon in hope someone will get back to me.

I’ve done research on your Affiliates Pro plugin and others about integrating with the Event Manager Pro plugin which uses its own Paypal buttons to process payments.

I believe I have to do some custom coding to integrate the two plugins using your API which I can do thanks to the code available on your website, however, I still have the following questions that were asked in my first email on Nov 6th.

1. I want to give different commission rates for different events (Event #1 = 25%, Event #2 = 10%, Event #3 = 0%, etc.). Will I be able to do this with your plugin?

2. Does your plugin track refunds and chargebacks?

I look forward to hearing from you.

itthinx

Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch. You will receive a response earlier if you post on the related plugin page, see the Support for details please. That is the preferred way, also for support requests related to the plugins.

Regarding your questions, you should direct these at the plugin page Affiliates or Affiliates Pro depending on which version these are related to.

Regarding (1) this would certainly require custom coding and the plugins provide an API for that – see API for details and examples.

On (2) that depends on the integration, in the case of the Events Manager plugin, it would have to be implemented as there is no specific integration for it yet.

Cheers
