Thanks xemmex, this script is ideal for such a use. Although if it’s got an IP address and an open port, this script will monitor anything!

Hi jpoulin,

Thanks for the purchase, have you made any changes to the PHP file? This is the first report of any error with this script, I would recommend you reinstall the script following the readme.txt file and try again.

Hope this helps.

Hi jpoulin,

Both of these lines relate to the $settings[‘datafile’] & $settings[‘messagefile’] settings in the settings.php file. Please make sure you have set these correctly before running this sript.

Thanks

Hi,

I’ve entered details for a server however for some reason it isn’t being queried, I’m not sure why exactly. The server details are here: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/208.43.15.106:20001/.

Is this because it is a gaming server? Or…

Thanks.

Hi there,

Yes, it’s the port number – I just tried your IP with Port 21 and it’s responding. It’s just a case of finding an open port – if you have further addresses to check and can’t get them to work as expected use an Online Port Scanner such as http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/port-scanner/ which will report which ports are open and responding. Then, use a port number which is open when adding the IP address to the system status script.

Hope this helps and thanks for the purchase!

Hi, Found a small problem with the code; When you set ‘showip’ to 0 the pictures on the demo page no longer fit the table. Other than that :) thanks Adam

could this check URL instead of IP?

Hi dan888,

Thanks for the message.

This script is only designed to check IP’s and Port numbers – however if you have a URL you can easily find the IP address it’s using. You can ping it from the command prompy or use an online domain tool.

Hope this helps.

Just integrated into our WebSite. It just took us 1 hrs to finish the work :)

you can check how it looks on http://www.wiredhosting.com.ar/uptime_servidor.php

Some reccomendations for future versions:

-Add uptime percentage based on logs -Add Graphs -Ability to edit hosts -Ability to sort by order hosts

Awesome Script, still loving it :)

Hi wiredhosting,

It looks really nice, and a fine example of how you can modify this script to fit your own website design!

Thanks for the purchase and the comments for future versions!

Hi Bricktop,

will you add average data for the uptime status?

it will be nice to have historical data in % of the uptime of each server.

Hi wiredhosting,

It’s certainly a good idea and something I would consider if I get enough requests for it!

Thanks for the purchase.
