Hi, Can I deploy a few files or do I need to upload all my files in each version upgrade, even I changed just one file?

The question is about the rollback behavior with few files, also..

I’m kind of confused in how to setup the cron. If i have different profiles what would be de entire line to execute?

I’m using: /usr/bin/php -f /home/userName/public_html/backup_manager/cron.php?profile=profilename and it’s not working

Hello, i have created different profiles succesfully. I can do manual backups in all of them with no problem. But i can’t figure it out how to add each profile to cron.

F. Cron jobs

There are 4 types of actions you can do with cron in combination with Abs.

Filebackup
Database(s) backup
Rollbackup a file backup
Rollback a database(s) backup

There is an example cron.php file in the root directory of Abs. Here you can easely uncomment the acctions you want to do on your server. Below you find a description of the different functions.

To select a profile that you want to use for your cron you can use the profile uri parameter. Below you find some examples for loading different profiles. cron.php Uses the default profile (config.php) cron.php?profile=sitebase Will load the config.sitebase.php profile

I am having serious issues with the script, it simply does not do anything. I see the icon spin and spinning, but not happen. Can you offer some suggestions?

Can’t get this to work on my localhost at all. I don’t see any notes or support on localhost setup, but I think I’ve tried every logical configuration. Can’t backup files or db, or import db. Just the spinning waiting icon. Very disappointed.

This script seems to be exactly what I’m looking for, we’re currently building a web app which needs regular database backups so I’m assuming this will be able to handle large amounts of data? And is it very secure?

This will come in handy for client sites too!

Is there anyway to point to specific directories to do the file backup? Seems to me that it’s scanning a long time and only coming back with three files. Is there a way we can control where it looks to back up?

Why is this item still being sold if it’s not being supported? Look at all the unanswered questions going back months.
