I have a question about using the plugin with content (posts) from my site. I am able to see the posts in the plugin, which is great. However, how can I disable the time from appearing as well?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi, thank you for purchasing.
Please contact our support via email. We can’t provide support via comments.
If I had only read further in the documentation, I would have figured it out
...Thanks, I got the answer I need.
Glad you figured it out!

Three questions. Can this support more than one RSS feed source? Is it also configured to work using shortcodes? Can you play excerpts from rss feeds & set how many words are allowed
Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!
Yes, it supports multiple feeds. It’s only a widget but you can use some other widget -> shortcode plugin to use it as a shortcode. You can only use feed item’s content without any modifications.
Hi! – just curious- is there an option to scroll sideways?
Hi; no – just vertical scrolling.
Okie doke- thanks
Damn I wish I would of read this before purchase. So there is no shortcode to include this in my post/page?
Hi, thank you for purchasing!
No, there’s no shortcode. However you can use some free widget -> shortcode plugin to get that functionality.
what kind of widget shortcode plugin would you recommend
Yep great idea. It worked. I have it now in my page. Thanks
You’re welcome. Glad it worked out.
Can I make it even slower then the slowest setting?
Without modify the source code no, you can’t.
How much modification is needed? Just something in JQuery? Can you give me some direction on where I would do this modification?
I’m very sorry but the scope of our support does not cover any modifications and we can’t provide any technical support via comments. Have a look at the widget PHP file around line #226. That’s the max we can help.
Hi. My twitter feed no longer scrolls or even shows up. I believe Twitter may no longer support the rss atom feed which I set up following the documentation. Does anyone know if the is a new way to scroll Twitter feeds via this plugin? Great plugin by the way!!! I highly recommend it
Unfortunately Twitter changed the RSS format and URL . We’re working on a workaround.
Hi there,
Any update on the Twitter feed? I bought this plug-in purely for the Twitter element and (after 30 mins banging my head against the wall trying to figure it out) it looks by the previous question that it doesn’t actually work?
Hi, thank you for purchasing. Sorry to hear you’re having problems.
As already stated – we’re working on it. Changes made to the Twitter RSS feed are unfortunately beyond our control.
In the interests of helping you out – and others who may be in the same boat…
I looked in to it and added this instead in the RSS field: https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.rss?screen_name=MYGC2013
It took about 30 mins to kick in – but when it did, our Twitter feed started displaying and scrolling – so if you change the screen name to your own it should work.
Thank you for taking the time to post that. Unfortunately the method doesn’t always work because WP can’t parse the feed but it’s definitely better than nothing
Do you think you could list the version number somewhere. I have looked and can’t see it anywhere.
Hi, thank you for purchasing.
Version is listed on the plugins list admin screen.
Thanks for getting back to me.
You’re welcome!
Hello,custom post type support?
Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!
Yes, the content scroller supports pulling content from custom post types.
I can get the widget to display all sorts of content, but nothing scrolls. Any tips?
Hi, thank you for purchasing. Sorry to hear you’re having problems.

Hey – before I buy this item, can I display a mixture of RSS feeds and custom text together?
Thanks!
Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!
No unfortunately you can’t mix different data sources.
I too bought this mainly to use with Twitter, but have had a lot of trouble. precreative’s solution presented in an earlier comment works most of the time but every third time I log in or so, the widget has crashed, sending an ugly bar of formatting gone awry across my site. I hope this app can be made to work with Twitter soon. I feel like $10 was a lot to pay (yes it was $10, not $8) for an app that only sometimes works with Twitter.
Hi, thank you for purchasing. Sorry to hear you’re having problems.
Please note that Twitter is a 3rd party service that we can’t control. And unfortunately sometimes it doesn’t work.
Please contact our support via email with your site details (URL, WP username/password). We can’t provide support via comments.
Please note that although CodeCanyon does not have control over Twitter, it does have control over the claims it makes about this widget’s functionality with respect to Twitter. And note that functionality is possible: there are widgets (for Wordpress, one free one called The Ultimate Twitter Profile Widget for example) that work bug free. The downside of these free and functional widgets is that they are ugly.
I have already contacted this site for assistance and have been told that they are looking into it.
As already stated – if you need support contact us via email.

Hi , As per this line in the plugins description: “Using the “Get content from” option set from which content type or taxonomy you want to pull the content from”
Since the theme I’m using has custom taxonomy posts, does it mean it can pull posts based on custom taxonomy tags or custom taxonomy categories?
Hi, thank you for taking an interest in our items!
Yes, you can choose a custom taxonomy as the content source.
So I got the plugin, and of course, my luck, its not working as I was expecting, but I’m impressed with what it can do so far, I’ll flag my issues through your email contact.
Also, I was wondering if it would be possible to display Text content pulled from custom fields within a post?
Update to the message I sent you: Custom posts related thumbnails are not pulled from the custom posts, yet if I place the widget in a regular Blog section, I can see the thumbnails of the regular blog posts.
Update II: Sorry to bombard this on here, but here’s another one:
The plugin doesnt take in consideration the Sticky posts, while the default built-in WP Recent posts widget does, can this be updated?
Inquiry: When it comes to pulling the content of a post, can we set a limit of characters to be displayed in the widget?
I tested out this option and indeed ALL the content within a post was displayed so that just didnt make sense, then reverted back to Excerpt but thats annoying since I have to add it manually.
Bottom line, this plugin is no different then the native WP Recent posts widget except for the Scrolling effect and the ability to post per Tag or other nifty options… bummer…
If you need support contact us via email.
Update to this request: I want to thank the developers for their support and followup on delivering a bit of a complex custom tweaking for this plugin, the end results were beyond expectations, from followups to steady communication, I highly recommend the WebFactory team, thank you once again.
You’re welcome! Glad we could be of service
