WP Plugin idea: Bulk create Custom Post Types

Hello all!

Every time i set up a new site for a client, and create a bunch of Custom Post Types (CPTs), i have to create at least a few demo posts for each CPT . in some cases, i have to create over 10 posts for each CPT (demo news, slider items, partner logos, etc). for my last client i had to create over 60 demo CPT posts. this is, of course, very time consuming and annoying. i`d rather work on the design and development part….

for creating pages on the fly, i use the excellent Bulk Page Creator plugin, and i can create dozens of pages in under 2 minutes. I only wish there was such a plugin for every post type…

Would any of you create such a plugin? I`m sure that many designers, developers and agencies have the same problem: creating demo CPT content rapidly.

This plugin should automatically detect every registered CPT and give the user the chance to bulk add posts (with or without a default text). Check out Bulk Page Creator for the details.

I hope someone thinks this is a good idea and would build such a plugin.

i think it’s a good idea even if only a small niche would be interested in such a plugin. By the way it’s very complicated to do, all you have to is listing all CPT ’s and then populate them with premade content.
