Hey, i am actually developing a wordpress plugin. I integrated the content editor in a custom menu page in wordpress, the content will be outputed in a php file. Now my question is how can i integrate the shotcode functionality in this “custom editor”. This is the php file which will output the content from the editor: https://www.facebook.com/color4you/app_555430844484948

Thanks in advance! :)

Correct me if I’m wrong but you seem to be wanting to collect the output of the shortcodes to display on a non wp page?

Even if you collect the rendering of the shortcodes, which is possible using the do_shortcode method supported by wp, so your doing this part in wp, in most cases it’s not enough as the markup behind the shortcode will likely reference assets like images where relative urls are used and css/javascript file dependencies which are registered on a page where the shortcode sits.

Due to this, collecting just the output of the shortcode is not enough, you’ll need a page in wordpress to host the shortcode perhaps a custom post type, give it a custom template so as to collect only the content without the wordpress layout etc. Then reference this custom post type in an iframe or the object element in your php file. This will allow you to display the contents of the shortcode externally.
