Wordpress Latest Posts Featured Plugin

Hello, I have been looking around for a plugin for Wordpress that will post the latest posts from a specific category in a grid design displaying a TITLE , IMAGE, and short excerpt of the post.

I have made a design in paint you can look at here. This is what I am basically looking for, http://i49.tinypic.com/16i7cso.png

It will be a 4 by 4 box containing the 16 latest posts from a certain category. Each latest post will be in its own box like the image i have provided and it will Include the TITLE , IMAGE, and short excerpt of the post.

I want to be able to control how many words are in the short excerpt and I also want to be able to make a few of these latest posts but for different categories. For example in my home page it will show 16 of the latest categories for cars and then another 16 latest posts of the category beaches. and so on.

If you know anyone selling this plugin please let me know or if anyone can build this for me.
