I don’t see any problem with that. This is just their way to show that a button is highlighted.
I believe he’s taking about the graphic icon to the left of the window, not the buttons. Unless that graphic is meant to be standing on the edge of the green “person,” the reflection shouldn’t look like that.
I’ve made a clean install on August 15 with the 90 days evaluation build. I never used windows 8 before, and for me was 5 mins to find all the features and how the new interface works. The design is very good for me, yes the aero style was removed, bud the new one is very clean and solid. In my opinion is good OS, with good performance, and clean design. The workflow wasn’t compromised at all. So I don’t get why are all of you cried about this OS, it was made like that, and will be there for some years, so if you don’t like it or don’t adapt to the new “metro ui” you have many more options out there to use…

I’m pretty pissed off at Microsoft at the moment. Was playing around with CSS3 3D transforms. Works in Firefox, works in Safari and Chrome, only sort of works in IE10 . My vendor-prefixes are correct, but I’m sure there’s some dumb Microsoft-specific thing I need to add. I really wish I could send them my code and say “If it works in Gecko and Webkit, make it work in your new browser damn it!”.
I guess that’s why is Windows 8 Beta
@Pricop – Can you inform us all when you’ve released your new, revolutionary OS with pixel perfect, etc design / UI and flawless UX? Why? At very least, I want to critique it! LOL !
Plenty of issues in Android, iOS and Apple’s Mountain Lion OS, too. You just have to be anal enough to look for them. None of this sort of foolishness keeps me from enjoying / using any of them though.
downv saidAgreed. It annoys me to no end when people claim it’s the next Vista. I guarantee you half of them have no idea as to why Vista was bad. There’s honestly very little holding me back from upgrading(big one being is it’s not out yet).

I’ve been using it on my laptop for a while and aside from amazing performance, it still feels naked without a classic start button.
CodingJack saidI personally have the same feelings right now, but having said that I’ve only just recently started using it. I’m sure I’ll get use to it eventually, or I’ll find an app that mimics the current start menu.

Also, the performance is absolutely amazing!
