Why is my Tumblr theme not selling?

The first week I uploaded it I recieved 5 sales, since then… nothing yet others are selling like hot cakes. Can I just get some feedback on my theme to see what I should improve on my next one?

I like your design but there are a few points which don’t look good:

1. The dropshadow of the whole site is too dark. Try to set the opacity a little bit deeper.
2. the gray on the right side is too dark in my opinion. Also the inner shadow is way to dark.

OK thank you BroOf, I’m currently working on a new Tumblr theme that only has a slight drop shadow to it and a cleaner layout. Could it be that it is not overly different to the default theme for Tumblr? Maybe I should move bits around more.

Yea it looks a little bit standard but that’s not bad I think. Of course templates with another structure are more exciting to a lot of people so just try some things and you will see what people love to see and what not. And never forget that dark drop shadows make your design looking lumpy.
