Hi: I clicked a link to buy a product for $37.00. CodeCanyon prompted me to register – fine. done. I then received my registration email which told me to click to be verified – fine. done. I then revisited the site, saw my username in the upper right corner while reading a page that told me I was not yet verified and had no access???

After finally getting that out of the way, I selected my item to purchase and this this site told me to pay via paypal (the only selectable link) – Fine. I funded paypal with the $37.00 and returned to the same place in the site. Suddenly I could pay by Credit Card was selectable, so I selected it because paypal would take a few days to fund anyhow. Once my credit card was selected and the information entered, this site sent me to moneybookers.com to fund that from my card – fine. Done.

As a final step, I revisited the product to finally click buy now, and what do I get, a damn credit card payment screen to enter my information and pay – which finally got me ot my product download.!!!

Why why why ??? Whay did yous site force me to fund paypal, then force me to fund moneybookers (now were up to $74.00), and finally I was able to pay directly in the site???

This $37.00 purchase just wasted $101.00 ~!@#$ ^&x%x **(().

You may have mistaken the payment options.

When you attempt to purchase an item you are given two choices:

1) Buy with prepaid credit (PayPal or Moneybookers)
2) Buy instantly with PayPal only ($2 surcharge)

You can deposit money into your prepaid credit account here with PayPal or Moneybookers – a lot of people do this to make multiple purchases in the future easier (and cheaper). You can also earn money into your account here by referring customers or selling items on the marketplace. This is prepaid credit and is displayed at the top next to your name.

If you don’t want to deposit money into your prepaid envato account here that is totally fine – you can purchase the item directly with PayPal – this involves a $2 surcharge – people tend to choose this option if they do not plan on purchasing any items from any envato marketplaces in the future.

You can read more about purchasing items within the help section:
