I’m curious about how many people on CodeCanyon likes this amazing CMS .
After working on my first ever Joomla site while creating a theme for ThemeForest, I can safely say that Wordpress beats it (in my opinion) on almost every single level.
The way it works is sometimes so retarded it’s unreal, something that should take a few clicks can require you to go into numerous sections and jump about from one to the other, all very annoying.

+1
Also, it has very poor development documentation.
Took me an hour to figure out how to add one item to the navigation menu
Several Clicks made to Hundreds of Clicks with joomla, the admin panel is annoying
I figured out it would take me too long to start doing Wordpress theme development so I went on Joomla.
Troll
I went back to Wordpress.. Would take me even more with Joomla

I’m with you on this one. Even though I’m a WordPress lover now, I can never thank Joomla enough for teaching me all the skills that made me what I am today. It’s true that Joomla is not a walk in the park and has a steeper learning curve, but once you make it through I can guarantee, that you’ll be amazed at what you can do with it.
Honestly, I love the OOP approach in Joomla and I think WordPress should learn a thing or two from it. That’s my opinion though.
