I’ve switched to Mac and their Spaces are really working for me, I have 9 of them set and I don’t notice any slow downs in my work flow – though after a few months of practice… It’s like having 9 displays but instead of moving your head around, you just press a hotkey :)

Just switched to using Spaces as well—can’t believe I didn’t right from the second I setup my Mac! One of the best tools to increase “screen estate” and workflow on a smaller screen.

I’m on a 15” MacBook Pro so I’m stuck with 1440 by 900 but I prefer it after moving from a 24” 1920 by 1200 external screen (which I still have but refuse to use).

2560×1440 I used to have 2×1680x1050 next to each other, but I decided to just buy one larger and more expensive -> saves money in the long run. It also saves a lot of space on my desk now and my neck don’t hurt that much from a previous constant movement left to right.

and what did you buy… :)

2×1440x900 monitors. I find having two monitors allows you to do some things that spaces for example just wont let you although I do plan on replacing one with a nice Apple cinema display this summer.

@MSFX Apple Cinema Display 27” – so it matches my Mac Pro :) But if I would be a serious photographer or print designer then I would buy some other display for sure. Apple Cinema Display is great for webdesign and long night drooling over the dribbble shots which is enough for my use.

@TylerQuinn Ha, say at least 5 often happening things which spaces won’t let you do and dual displays will let you do :P
