Recently while chatting with a friend on facebook desktop site, I clicked on a link he (happened to) sent me. It was an EXE file but looked like a JPEG .
Silly, I know.
Now… every text that I send has a link added to it with some obscene pics.
I ran some anti-virus scans. Nothing was detected. Help me out, guys!

Can you mention AV used? Between I would suggest Scan your PC with KasperSky (av or internet security ), Just make sure your AV is updated.
Ya, it may also corrupt your system file, So keep a backup of your file before you do so.
Also in folder options, Make sure “Hide extentions of known file types is unchecked” ie Extension for all file types should be showing. So in future you would not Click on Such file.
Between Kaspersky is free for 30 days . It should be solving your problem for sure.

I think possibly http://www.malwarebytes.org/ will have a fix for that virus already.
+1, saved me from such viruses.
Hitman Pro is decent (http://www.surfright.nl/en). In fact, it catches things that most other scanners/security software doesn’t. It may, or may not, have a 30-day free trial, but it will scan for free.
As mentioned earlier, Malwarebytes is also decent, although it has a difficult time identifying TDL -based malware.
Microsoft Security Essentials decent. It has decent scanning at an unbeatable price (free), and it’s not a resource hog. Kaspersky is decent to, although I’ve become disenchanted with it over the past couple of years.
Personally, I’d stay away from the traditional names in security: Trend Micro, Symantec/Norton, MacAfee. All three are pretty much crap. AVG is questionable.
Have you noticed any other weird behavior?

If you dont want to pay for an antivirus software I suggest Avast antivirus.
http://www.avast.com/en-eu/indexDont be conceived by the fact its free, because it very good.
Try Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ This virus it’s an Worm is another type of virus most antivirus will never find him.
