I have downloaded a trial of Flash CS3 and am trying to install it on my laptop with vista. It keeps coming up with the following error message: “A problem occurred while extracting the archive. Please try downloading the Adobe Flash Professional again”. Does any one have any suggestion how i can get around this. Thank you for your help in advance
Yeah… You take the Vista CD, and put it in the microwave… Then you go and buy Windows XP.
Vista has so many problems that I almost killed myself. I then realized that uninstalling it is a bit easier…
I’m running CS3 Master Collection under Vista Ultimate on 2 machines and have no problems other than that when I launch Flash (or Video Encoder) the Vista Aero theme changes to Vista default theme. Apart from that, Flash seems to work fine under Vista, so I’d say that it might be a problem with the download that you’re trying to unpack.
Um ….. one realistic suggestion I have ….. if you’re having problems unpacking the trial download, why not go to a newsagents wherever you live, have a look through some computer magazines and see if any of them have a trial version of Flash on the magazine cover CD? Having said that, with the imminent release of CS4 being touted already, maybe magazines are holding back adding Flash to their cover discs until they can put CS4 on them. Worth a look next time you’re near some magazines though.

Hey bogger57 Thanx man for your informative reply. Will try again. Ta
I’ve never had problems with flash in Vista, except some crashing, but that is really not big deal, just few times…per week…
I have Vista for one year now, on my laptop is Home premium, on my PC is Ultimate, and I am just in training to save my work every 2 minutes
Vista have good side too, I really believe in that
