what are you training for/program you running? if you don’t mind me asking ;-)

I’ve been doing some ultra runs (50km), but it takes a long time to tain for this. Lately I’ve been switching more towards cross fit, but I try to mix it up so my body really doesn’t get used to it (to avoid the plateau effect).

31 miles thats impressive… not sure what cross fit is though, have you ever thought about to a triathlon? I figure once I start getting a few more miles under my belt a week Ill start biking a bit as well

Anything is better than just sitting on your butt. That is why I love the Nike+ Fuelband it tracks any type of exercise – or movement. It is not just running.

I do between 10,000-35,000 steps per day. A day where i just walk my dogs and do my things it get to around 10,000 steps (I walk them 4 times a day). When I’m around the 30,000 I run or do the cross fit.

Does the FuelBand allow you to upload your miles to Nike+ and use them for challenges (such as this one)? I wasn’t sure if you were using two Nike+ devices or just the FuelBand to participate in our challenge here.

What confused me was the following diagram from Nike comparing all their devices. Why does the chart below suggest that the FuelBand does not track runs (distance/pace/duration)?

no the sports band won’t work for this challenge or any others I believe its pretty much a very very fancy pedometer with a web/mobile app to support it and make different challenges etc, count calories
