Posting this in “Item Discussions”.

Here is a BETA demo of my upcoming item. http://ultimateclientmanager.com/demo/

Jump in and give it a test if you like. A lot of things still don’t work – but you get the idea on functionality. Happy to receive feedback if anyone would like to post it here.

Demo will reset or go down for changes every so often.

Cheers,
dtbaker

I would suggest you to add Affiliate Program and Leads section to follow up sales.. then you will have made it all …. What will the price be for this one? Is it possible to connect this script with existing database of custommers?

Looks great. Some excellent functionality there. I especially like the “User Roles” page.

I did find it a little convoluted to use at times, i think it may be todo with lack of colour? More noticeable headings, links, table backgrounds would give it more of a focal point. But, that’s just my two cents.

As a system, it’s great. I’d certainly consider it if i carried on freelancing.

Need the ability to export data as .CSV file. In business you will find that excel is your biggest friend when doing your finances.

The User Interface needs a lot of work as well. It’s not user friendly at the moment.

Yep implementing import/export in all areas. eg: Customer export and import is working: http://ultimateclientmanager.com/demo/customer.customer_admin_list/ Websites/Jobs/Finance etc.. are coming along nicely.

Interesting, a lot of people have told me this UI is the most user friendly (ie: easy to use) one they’ve ever seen. Hopefully once all the user functionality is in place I can work on some of the design elements to make it more appealing.

Wow,

This is looking very robust and professional. I LOVE it. I am a bit confused on the User Roles. I created a new role “Clients” and tried to asign that role to a client I created “Bob Bohb” but when I logged in as Bob, I see he has more permissions then I intended.

It is a bit confusing about what gives what permission. Like: Can User Login” – This was also misleading, I thought it meant that user would be able to login as another user using a generated url like in Customer -> Contacts:

Auto Login Link right click – copy link [?]

Maybe renaming the option to something like “Activate Account” would be more accurate.

Will continue to look over the app and test it. It really does look awesome!!

Good idea renaming that “can user login”. Yes roles will work as you planned, still wrapping permission “checks” around everything that displays, so there are a few functions available for everyone (but you can see a difference between the “admin” view and your custom “client” view).

Roles/permissions is one area that will need quite some testing once it’s finished, given the number of permission possibilities it may take a white to test each one :)

Are you going to add the ability to upload images and add tags with comments like the lite version?. I will definitely buy if you do. The user role idea is great. I would like to be able receive/send emails when a image/project is tagged with a new comment. Otherwise it is looking fantastic.
