I am new to email marketing but since I am starting my own business am interested in it. I noticed a lot of big companies use mailchimp so I created a account there, But I also noticed some scripts here on codecanyon.

Does someone have experience with email marketing, and what is important, What would you do, mailchip or a script hosted on your own servers?
