You using W7?
During boot press the F8 button to start Windows in Safe mode. When you did that install Hitman Pro and Ad Aware and do a full scan + shield your items and your computer should be safe again.

Oww.. Damn that sucks. 
You might need to do a clean install to recover your computer, but if you do that all files on your HDD will be lost.

He can download some live distribution, for example ubuntu can be downloaded for free, then boot only to RAM , backup all important files and then make fresh install.
But this was 8 days ago so I believe he already figured it out.
