Hello dear authors and buyers,
Last week I’ve bought a Coda license, which is awesome!! But today I’ve tried Textmate and I have to say that the Bundles and code Snippets features shipped with Textmate are way better than Coda… The only thing is that there is no Projects/Sites Manager like Coda with FTP integrated.
Do you know if there is a Plugin for Textmate allowing me to define sites or projects and transfering my files via FTP within Textmate ?

To my knowledge there isn’t a plugin for FTP . But you can use this expand drive. Hope that helps.

Nope, I’ve used Textmate for a few months and I didn’t find any plugin for ftp. But I did find Aptana Studio a while ago that is based on the Ecplise platform and I can tell it is a real pleasure working with it.
It handles xHTML, Javascript, jQuery, Mootools, MySQL statements, PHP etc etc .. even FTP protocol! Sure there are all plugins, but the great part of all that is that it is free and easy to install (plugins to!)

Hmm… ExpanDrive didn’t do it for me. Slow and unresponsive, not good at all. Go with Panic’s FTP app: Transmit. It rocks, yeah!

Nobody is using Dreamweaver CS4 ? Tried Coda but… the layout isn’t my thing.

To fix this issue, you need to install “ReMate”. It was the same for me before I install this and now it work perfectly. I can work remotly on my development server without any lag.

Nobody is using Dreamweaver CS4 ? Tried Coda but… the layout isn’t my thing.
CS4 is way to much overloaded for me, I just need a simple, fast and powerful editor. TExtMate is the one, just need to be customized a little bit.
The workflow is different, but faster when your got it.
