im looking at when user register to my website… and after been approve by admin… the user get their own subdomain from my domain…

or a new folder created under the user name…

and there is basic simple page create into the user…

so the user can promote their subdomain page to their fren or family… and the user pages can be visited without any login warning.. unless the user want to change password or email…

only admin can change the user page layout etc..

can this be done ?

I don’t know if you want to create ‘virtual’ subdomains but you can Google for a “wildcard DNS ”. With this you can use the subdomain and catch the subdomain text with .htaccess.

id search for it yesterday and found this guy give the php script for free.. but it have flaw and he didnt gv support.. :) maybe the script just for php4 …

wildcard dns using dedicated dns right ? is this mean i have to use fixed ip ? or else… im using share hosting by the way… and few add on domain in my current hosting account.. the script that the guy freely give is for the main domain server hosting.. the script didnt work on add on domain or parked domain…

and so far most of codecanyon user manager code / script didnt offer this subdomain feature..

For this feature you need to contact your provider for changing the DNS . Maybe you can find more info here, there is a small snippet for PHP that can filter the username from the URL so. http://www.wiredstudios.com/php-programming/setting-up-wildcard-dns-for-subdomains-on-cpanel.html
